Works good.
works great. Care must be taken to not go against the grain of the trim

This trimmer can be used to trim plastic/poly T-Molding
We purchased a T molding trimmer for made by another company for about $100 to trim the surplus molding that sticks up above the surface of the tables that the molding is installed in. It did not perform well and slowed down production. I had one of these Band-It Trimmers on hand and although it is not designed for T molding, I was able to modify it by cutting off about 1/8" of an inch from the face of the trimmers stop to make it suitable for the job. It performs PERFECTLY. I hope that Band-It reads this and makes a modified version of this trimmer and offers it for sale. Other production shops will love it.

A useful, inexpensive way to trim veneer
This item must be used carefully (AVOID rushing as you trim the overhanging edge of wood veneers; check frequently to see if the direction of the grain has changed, and adjust to that by changing your direction of movement). If you do the above (as I did after viewing several Internet videos on the topic of applying and trimming veneers) you should not have any problems. Two additional items of which you MUST be aware before purchasing and using this tool: 1) The razor inserts dull QUICKLY -- not a concern if you're just trimming a short length of veneer edge, but if you're doing more than, say, two meters (6 feet) probably a good idea to buy additional blades and change them out frequently. 2) If trimming the overhang from a tight external radius this may not follow the curve effectively and deliver a close/clean trim -- especially if the radius ends close to a vertical column or molding. In that situation, you'll need to (very carefully and methodically) trim the veneer by sanding or planing it down.

Just use a regular blade.
I like that it has two blades instead of one so you have more options to flip them around when they get dull, but I found it difficult to cut the wood banding perfectly flush. In theory you want to cut with the grain so the blade doesn't dig into the base material but it just kept walking out even when I pushed down with my other hand. Even cutting against the grain it didn't cut totally flush in the first pass. After two passes it was mostly flush, but even then there were a few spots I ended up going over again with a regular blade.

Does not work
Product is a total waste and largely pointless. What you see in the image is gouged wood resulting from trying to use this tool at the silly (non-intended) angles and pressures that it must be used at in order to cut the edge-banding anywhere the corned of the edge-banded board. When using as intended the trimmer does a stupidly bad job. Have had to go back with a sharp razorblade (picture 2) in order to get a clean non-waivy straight cut at the actual corner of the workpiece. Have had to manually trim every edge-banded panel by hand using a nice sharp razorblade for the cabinets i am building. The Band-IT edge trimmer is useful as a first-pass rough-cut prior to final trimming with a legitimate final tool (in my case a razor blade). If you're going through the bother of edge-banding then you're adding effort for a nice finished look. The waivy inconsistent and undulating protruduing edge that this edge band trimming tool gives you is not nice. Perhaps the results are better with wood edge banding.

Absolutely great. An amazing tool.
I've had to deal with cutting veneer to size before. I've used a simple blade on the inside while supporting the wood on the outside with a board; I've tried just a blade at an angle straight onto the edge, I've tried sanding on the edge to weaken the veneer into breaking right where it should. NONE of those techniques even compares to the ease of use, time savings and precision of this tool. I used thick, pre-glued veneer and while the veneer itself did put up some resistance, this thing was absolutely amazing. Can't recommend it enough.

this is great
tried a few different options for edge banding 13 melamine cabinets, including the double sided ones. this had the best, most consistent results

It's.. OK. I bought this through some YouTube recommendation, but I personally regret buying this. Positives: It's easy to use, compact and a simple design. The finish is consistent and it's good enough for the thin iron on edge band, so I could certainly say if you're a DIYer, it might be the tool for you. Negatives: But, if you're attempting this on anything thicker than 0.5mm banding, the blade will flex, causing it to 'pull' the banding towards it. It ends up creating an undercut, and it will slightly expose the cut edge of the original substrate. The only way to get it perfectly flush, is to trim off most of the excess first before using this tool -- which sort of defeats the purpose. If you're a stickler for a refined edge, then it's probably not for you. Photo is of 1mm banding: good enough, but leaves a DIY aftertaste.
