A life saver!
I have a 2019 FR3 and it started having problems with the grey water tank draining. We are full time campers, and it had no issues for about a year. Then it started draining slowly. It finally completely stopped draining.I had to have work done on it because the drainpipe was leaking around the gate valve. It drained great for a while and then got clogged up again. I bought this to see if it would clear the clog and it did! What a relief. I will use it on the black water tank when I have some time and I am sure that it will be cleared out just as good as the gray water tank was. The black water tank has never had a problem though.I highly recommend this because it is easy and fast and does the job.

Works great
Used to backwash my black and gray tanks. Lots of stuff came out of the black tank even after we did our normal clean. I ran this four times and finally saw no toilet paper and things coming out.

Cleared the clog
Worked at clearing the clog. Great to be able to see when everything clear. Only issue with it was the weight of the hose would loosen it sometimes otherwise I would have given it 5 stars.

Works fantastic!
This valve with the flush option works great. It’s nice because you do not have to pull the hose off and move it to a new location just spin the valve to which direction you want it to spray to clean the hose or to fill the tanks.

For me a "MUST HAVE" item. Keep a tank wand on hand also.
I just purchased my first travel trailer. It is a used trailer and I was very apprehensive about dealing with the septic. I purchased one of these Dual Flush units along with a tank wand and a few other items to be as prepared as I could. I found this tank rinser to be extremely useful and it made the whole process much easier to deal with. For my review I'll list the features this unit provides and how I used it on my first trip. I ended up having a clogged up system since the previous owner failed to flush properly after their last use. This unit saved me from what could have been a major issue.1. Visibility - My septic line does not have a clear section at the outlet. This unit adds that and it's very convenient to be able to see the flow you are getting when you open your drain valves. The first indication of a clog is poor flow or a sudden drop in flow when you open your valves. This is what happened for me. After opening the valves flow began then stopped abruptly and my black tank levels never dropped below 2/3 full with valves wide open. I tried flushing with a wand through the toilet first but no luck.2. Tank Flush - This unit lets you flush the tank from the drain outlet. I wouldn't see this as a replacement to using a wand through the toilet or built in tank rinser (if you have one) but it does have one "HUGE" benefit, you can use back pressure to clear a clog. My system was clogged and the wand wasn't clearing it. I closed the outlet valve on this unit, hooked up my water hose and set the valve to "flush tank". Water immediately filled the drain and began to back flushed the tank. Any clog was pushed back into the tank. After a few minutes I shut off the water and opened the drain valve. The flow was much improved but eventually slowed down again. I repeated this a few times and after 3 flushes the tank emptied normally. I then went back and cleaned the tank with a wand and we were done. If I hadn't had this unit I'm not sure what I would have done but it probably would have involved opening the sewer line or trying to snake the clog out from inside. Yuck!!3. Hose Flush - When your ready to disconnect you want to flush your septic hose. Normally you dump you grey water after emptying and closing your black tank to rinse the hose. Additionally you would probably disconnect the hose and spray it out with your water hose. With this unit you simply close your black/grey water drain valves, switch the direction valve to "flush hose" and turn on the water. This flushes your hose with fresh water without disconnecting it. Much better option than disconnecting if you asked me. Once rinsed you your satisfaction you can disconnect and plug your hose.In closing, this item is a "Must Have" for me. I would not use any other method than this type of flush valve plus a wand for flushing my tanks and hoses.

Amazingly useful at keeping tanks clean
[Update April 2024]So I've now gone through 2 of these with the same failure point. The knob to adjust the direction of the water has broken on 2 separate devices. The first one happened on a hot summer day and I attributed it to that, but the 2nd one happened shortly after replacing it in normal operating temperatures. I did not disassemble to identify what the exact failure point was, but it seems like just thin plastic at the point the twist knob interacts with the inner piece. It's also unfortunate that they increase the price of this right at the beginning of camping season but I understand why.I will probably look for another brand to see if there is a better quality build version of a similar product, but may end up replacing it with this again and hope the quality has increased for some reason...[End of update]This is a very useful tool for any RVer either part time or full time. I only use my camper on weekends but have full hookups available to me where I am at which makes this process a bit easier at least. It does a great job of providing quality seals at all points on this device. I had very few drips come from the sprayer adjustment one time but was at a point where my black tank was almost fully backfilled so keep in mind the distance to the blacktank from this device can impact it's performance. One thing I'll note is that if your park has very low water pressure or flow you may encounter some issues with this as things fill up, but if that's the case there are likely a lot of other issues at hand as well. Don't forget to wear gloves when messing with your black tank either. For my own use, I've paired this with a flow meter to gauge how many gallons of water I've pushed through in each run. After doing that a couple of times, knowing what size my black tank is when empty, I was able to just start setting a timer up on my watch with voice control so that I could keep everything clean. My first time backfilling I probably filled the tank full about 8 times and allowed to completely drain, even on the 8th run you could still see quite a bit of sediment coming out towards the end of the empty process. One other added benefit of this and the water meter I'm using is that it allows me to backfill the tank from the outside enough to add my tank treatment without having to sit there and hold the flusher down forever. I'm fairly aggressive in that I add about 10 gallons back into my black tank before even mixing the tank treatment in, however doing this I've also noticed that I have a lot less residue inside of my tank the next weekend I'm out at the camper.I have not noticed a difference in accuracy on my black tank sensor because of using this or any other cleaning tool. I also have multiple friends that have the sprayer built into their tanks and their sensors are just as off as mine though.

Works just fine
Got this to back flush one of my greater tanks. Although it does not direct a spray into the tank itself, it does allow a reverse flow of water to be generated. Also, with the built-in gate valve, you can build up a higher pressure pulse to help break up blockages. I would close both the flush and tank valves once Inhad flooded the drain piping. Build up pressure for a few seconds and then open the tank valve to allow a good pulse to reverse flow. The clear plastic section allows you to see what the blockage consisted of when you drain the tank. Very pleased with this piece of kit.

it was the wrong size which is unfortunate
but I don't care I'm just going to get an adapter made for and maybe I will address this issue now that the theory of this product is very good that you can attach a hose to it and have it fill up your greywater tank and your black water tank at the same time since I purchased this product I put the pump in my motorhome that pumps water for my greywater tank into my black water tank because it all is coming out in the same place anyway and it is easier to flush it that way when it has to all come out anyway.

Works well
Suprizingly it flushed the black tank on our rv very well. Once we thought it was flushed clean we left hose turned on for an extra 5 minutes and cleaned more out. Also used it on Grey water thanks as well
