Beautiful and beautiful sounding
I ordered 2 other Cajons and didn't like the sound or the quality. This string cajon has tension adjusters on the top and rounded front corners for comfort. It has a nice bass center strike and a crisp snare sound at the top. This is one of the top models and it is made here in the USA. (Oxnard California) I communicated with the maker (Latin Percussion) and was pointed in this direction. I was reluctant to spend so much when many cajon are half the price or less, but this instrument is well worth the money.

Sounds Great, very balanced. deepest bass cajon i've played. Very responsive.
Great sounding cajon, Thin tappa, so good bass and sensitivity. But if you hit real hard you might need a little thicker front plate. This would be a great studio and mic'ed up cajon.
