Caddis Men's Green Natural Breathable Wader Jacket

I did a lot of research on jackets before my fly fishing trip to AK. I wanted something to perform well but didn't want to spend all my money on just a jacket. With the reviews help I chose this one and man did it work out great . This is a very nice jacket for the money and very well made,it has just as many pockets as my fly vest. It has a good size hood that will tuck away under the collar.It has mesh on the inside for breathability so you don't sweat any more than you have too. It also kept me dry during the many rain showers on prince of whales island.

XL fits nice over my winter layers and breathable waders with me at 38 waist, 46 chest and 225lbs. Jacket adds a good wind break and has a thin lining, but it.s not insulated, nor did I expect it to.. Velcro closures at cuffs and zipper are sure to keep rain and splashes out. Lots of secure pockets although pockets are not 100 % water proof. Jacket length will be nice while kayak fishing too. Great value!

Two weeks before leaving for Klamath, CA for Salmon spring run I ordered my wading jacket and luckily I got it on time. That morning of Sunday Aug 14 @ 5:30 A.M. we started the trek to the river which is adjacent to the ocean. It was foggy, windy and chilly winds. To get to the spot we have to wade through a water knee deep high and sometimes up to my thigh. As I waded through the waters I stepped on a rock and lost my balance and fell on my knees and I was under water up to my waist. Got up real quick and I thought that was it for that day. To my surprise all my under garment was all dry because of that wading jacket I was wearing.....not even one drop of water got in. That wading jacket not only save my day but kept me dry and warm all day . And mind you, landed a 25 pounder king salmon and lost a bigger one that sa day. Thanks Cadis for saving my day!

Exactly what I was looking for at a great price. Sized right. I see where some reviews say these run small - I disagree. They are short-waisted by design. The jacket is meant to be worn with waders and is the approximate length of a fly fishing vest. Everything else (shoulders, sleeve length, etc.) is sized appropriately with even room for some layers underneath. Buy this jacket. Use the money you saved to go on more fishing trips!

It’s a fishing rain jacket. It is shorter for wading with two large chest pockets, a “D” loop in the back and over the chest pockets. No frills just an honest rain jacket that works. If you are not a fair weather fisherman and hit it hard this jacket will keep you on the river longer.

Fit really short. Must be the design to go with the waders. Seem to be good quality. Haven’t had a chance to use it yet.
