There is nothing to dislike about this chair! It goes high enough for just about anybody and drops down low to get your feet rest on the floor easily. The quality of the material is amazing and so comfortable. I can lean back in this chair easily and I can lock it into that position, which I love! I received this chair on the day they said it was coming, and it was nicely packed, easy to put together and just the right size for my office and me. (I am 5 foot 4 and 1/2 and I weigh around 155 lbs) The back of this chair has lumbar support which makes sitting long lengths of time so much easier. To be honest with you I don't even like getting up out of this chair! I do not think you would be disappointed if you ordered it. And yes, a work glove comes in the package to help you keep your chair clean as you assemble it. How cool is that? The chair swivels, tilts back and lowers up and down. I highly recommend this chair and would buy it again. I ordered white and it is very white, which is just perfect for my white room. This is one happy, satisfied customer. Update...I've had this chair for a while now. Is still a great chair. I do notice two things I wish were different; the springs in the chair are very firm, I'd rather have them softer and the lap part is too short. My legs hang over too much and they get to hurting. I use a foot stool under my desk to remedy that.

I bought this chair January of this year because of the reviews and some back pain I had been experiencing with my old chair. With moderate exercises from my doctor, posture and the support this chair provided just by being comfortable to sit in, I no longer felt back pain from sitting long hours for work. It was a great purchase. Fast forward to this week, I lean back in it and hear crackling. The backrest had somehow broken and it completely bent at a 180 degree angle. It had made itself into a recliner. I contacted support to see if there was a warranty or something on it because it was only about 7 months since I had it. The customer service I received was amazing. While they couldn’t replace the whole thing (which was fine, I have a “it won’t hurt to ask” mentality) they are sending me a replacement backrest at no charge so I can still use my chair. It was sent yesterday and will arrive tomorrow according to the tracking number they sent me. Phenomenal customer service and a great chair I will repeatedly buy.

PACKAGING - clearly repacked and reshipped. Looked like someone opened the box, checked out a few pieces and sent it back. Never assembled. ASSEMBLY - Similar to assembly of other office chairs. The 90 degree allen wrench should be shorter on 1 side so you can free spin the bolts without hitting other parts on the chair requiring repositioning in the bolt for half turns. It took 45 minutes to assemble. Instructions are clear. If you cut the wrench provided and put it in a driver drill or used a metric allen bit in a driver you could easily assemble this in 20 minutes. Warning - if you use a power drill go easy. Its not hard to over tork the screws and spin the lugs secured in the wood. The holes all lined up for easy install of bolts. MATERIAL - Chrome is low quality plating but about what you would expect at this price. The vinyl or pleather seems to be very good quality. At least it feels that way. It is a very good shade of white. Not stark white and no yellow or cream shades. The support bracket pre-installed in the back was a little crooked. Had to add a couple of washers to make it perfectly straight but the bolts are long enough to accommodate up to a 1/4” of adjustment. The lockout on the tilt is a nice feature. The chair came with standard office wheels that had a thin coat of something similar to rubber. I took the wheels off my old chair and put them on it. If you have wood floors I highly recommend rubber casters. You can get them on amazon for about $23.00/set of 5. COMFORT - This is a very cushy chair which is what I was going for. Extremely comfortable chair! It hugs you. If you are going for low cost comfort this is your chair.

Thank you NeoChair Support, first of all. Had some issue with the padding on the chair as it was sticking out very high. Contacted support and they shipped me a new replacement seat after 2 days. Now I am comfortably seated in this chair writing this review. I am 6'-3" tall, and I'm a big guy. I've used all the office chair types available here on Amazon and elsewhere in stores. My preference is a chair with a seat back that tilts independently from the seat. Most of the office chair's seat and back tilts together. I want my seat to stay flat when I tilt. I find it easier for my knees and easier to get up because my hip is tilted, it stays flat on the seat. This is why I love this NeoChair, the size, fit, and the tilting mechanism is what I am looking for. The padding is firm but not hard. My first order had some problem with the padding where there was a defect with a hard protruding padding. After receiving the replacement, I find this chair very comfortable- with lumbar support- to sit and work straight for 1 or 2 hours. Of course, prolong sitting is not recommended by doctors, we should all get up and stretch every 30-45 minutes to help blood circulation. Any chair with a massage feature is BS because that is not how blood circulation works, unless it massages your heart. Anyhow, thank you for the repalcement NeoChair, and I love it and I recommend this chair!

Given that the price of office chairs has gone up significantly these days - this isn't all that bad for the price, but be advised - you get what you pay for. I like the functionality and am going to keep the chair, but the build quality could be significantly better. For example, there are 10 M6 12mm screws, that, theoretically are fine per the design of the chair, but, in reality, poor manufacturing made me go to Home Depot and buy five M6 14mm screws, since the 12mm were too short to catch in some of the holes due to lax manufacturing tolerance! One of the metal legs had a cosmetic ding - too minor to have the hassle of returning, but something that should not happen in a new chair. Same for some spots and dents in the synthetic leather - like as if the workers making them were carelessly laying the pieces down at the workplace. The chair is overall comfortable. The lift and tilt mechanisms work great (you have to know what you are doing, though) and the feel of the 'leather' is not bad. One thing I do not like is that the handles are not adjustable - but I knew that before I ordered. Wish the handles were about 1.5 in higher, but no big deal. The bolts do not have washers, and in several places, I would have engineered them better. It's only been a few hours of sitting, and the chair already groans with movement, and I am not sure it will last more than a year (if that) without regular inspection and maintenance - something I do not really have time for. However, all said and done I am rating it 3 stars for poor engineering and shoddy workmanship.

It was fine the first few weeks. In fact initially I loved it. It was sadly a very short lived romance. It was easy to assemble with 2 people, took under 40 minutes. Felt great on my back. One screw was too short for the arm rest. Nobody is perfect. Eventually the arm rest padding kept slipping off and the metal underneath stabbed me, repeatedly. Accidents, nothing more. I tried to reattach the screw but it kept falling out. Then I tied it on. This is fine... Then another screw, after another. Weeks in and daily I'd find screws laying on the floor underneath for me to reattach. Denial was full blown. I kept trying to convince myself this chair was nice and not falling apart. It only got worse. Next it began sinking. First it was slowly. Within another week it progressed to every few minutes. Now I constantly get up to readjust it for my desk. It has also developed a lean to one side. Since the height drops, I have to look up awkwardly to see my computer and lean up on my desk which is causing enormous strain on my back, neck, and shoulders. After the 30 day return window closed, I can no longer use this chair at my desk. I now have to use my walking cane and back brace again due to all the pain this chair has caused me. This chair not only disappoints but it has literally hurt me. We're breaking up. Sure it looks good, but it's all a facade. This chair is poorly constructed and not functional. It's all talk and empty promises. This chair is a 1 night stand at best, and that's just not my thing. You deserve a better chair, we all deserve better chairs. For reference I am 5'8" and currently weigh 157lbs.

Packaging - could have been better. Box was in slightly rough shape but none of the chair parts were damaged and no parts were missing. Assembly - was a breeze. There is a single piece of paper (on the seat bag) with all the information you need - what’s what, instructions, drawings, etc. I have used a lot of office chairs but I’ve never had to assemble one myself. It took me 1 hour with no help and no re-do and no straining! The armrests were labeled (L,R, and which end was Front). The seat showed which end was front, too. All I needed was the allen key that came with the screws. (And I wore latex surgical gloves. I don’t know why I think that helped. The chair - looks legit. Considering I assembled it myself (!), everything works and it feels pretty sturdy. I would say it is a comfortable fit for people built like me (5’4 - 5’7, women size 6 to 12). I can put my feet up on the seat and sit lotus-style. The top of my head just about lines up with the top of the backrest. I can sit in this thing all day and my lower back doesn’t complain as much as it used to.

I’ve tried several chairs and couldn’t find any I liked until I found this one! It’s perfect! Very sleek and comfortable. I work from home and have sat in this for 8 hrs on and off with no pain. The back tilt is perfect and it’s large enough to put my feet on. The assembly was a little confusing since the screws did not have labels but we figured it out. I did not have 3 different screw sizes, only 2. ***2 Year Update: Chair still works great, but does not have enough butt cushion support for 2 years of sitting 8 hours a day. Not sure any chair really does. I still love the size, look, and function of the chair but don’t expect the comfiest chair in the world.
