This product (hard wired to a boiler) is a just a fancy room thermostat that allows you to switch ON or OFF a boiler based on what temperature is on the room where the boiler is located.The temperature thresholds can be changed locally (on the device) or via a mobile phone. There is no schedule or automation.However, the product I received was not communicating with the mobile phone and the VIMAR APP.Apart from being a defective product, the software and features are poor, as explained below.The product and its software work with heating only (i.e.no water heating applicability).It does not allow you to schedule the heating but rather to set the temperature on 3 settings: Freeze (it switches ON if below a set temperature), ON (stays on until it reaches a set temperature), Away (stays on until it reaches a set temperature) and also switch OFF (no temperature settings). You set a threshold temperature for the first 3 options (freeze, ON and away) and then you can use a mobile phone or the local device to switch MANUALLY between the options (freeze, away, ON, OFF).Without the possibility to program a schedule for the heating, this is just an expensive room thermostat that you will constantly need to remember to switch MANUALLY for one of the options. If you forget to change the option (for example you went to work and forgot to switch the heating off, then you use the mobile APP to switch it off).However, you can get a cheap thermostat (£10) to cut off the heating when it reaches a certain temperature (which you adjust manually). Therefore, for a manually switching thermostat there is no need for a £200+ device unless you really need the GSM function (to change options via a mobile phone if you forgot to change the options whilst you were at home). However, instead of GSM it would be better to have a programer (again as low as £10) that would automatically schedule the ON and OFF (24/7) without the need for you to keep remembering to do it manually a few times a day.Regarding the GSM (i.e. 2G mobile telephony), it allows you to put a SIM, but then you need to have mobile credit if you were to receive information from the device. There is no need for mobile credit if you only require switching ON/OFF and temperature setting via the APP). It would not work with the Three network (as Three does not use 2G).

Termostato molto carino esteticamente con molte funzionalità di programmazione. Buon prodotto.

devo assolutamente lasciare questa recensione perchè leggendo le altre vedo che questo prodotto non è stato compreso ne apprezzato per quello che offre, io cercavo un sostituto del mio termostato (sempre marca vimar) che fosse wifi ma che a differenza di tutti i prodottti ormai in commercio avesse sia la programmazione tramite wifi e quindi smatphone sia manuale direttamente dal dispositivo come un classico cronotermostato, in modo tale da poter esser utilizzato non solo da remoto ma da chiunque presente in casa è questo prodotto è penso l'unico sul mercato ad offrire questa possibilita (con tutte le opzioni disponibili e non solo acceso o spento e regolazione temperatura)Inoltre cercavo un prodotto che avesse la stessa precisione nella rilevazione della temperatura del precedente, cosa che praticamente il 90% dei termostati smart molto di moda attualmente (e da me provati) non hanno, (avendo sensori di pessima qualità) inoltre l'installazione è facilissima come del resto il collegamento alla wifi che come ben specificato avviene direttamente tramite l'app che va installata subito! dall'app i dati della wi fi di casa vengono recepiti in un attimo dal termostato, e non perde mai il segnale.Pertanto per chi cerca un termostato serio e funzionale wifi lo consiglio caldamente (anche se sembra vimar lo stia abbandonado per i classici scatolotti wifi senza funzioni)Beninteso il problema delle reti 5g è presente (infatti va solo a 2,4ghz)ma con un semplice extender wifi (io ho preso un tp link) si risolve facilmente se non direttamente impostando il router.

Estéticamente es muy bonito, los materiales y terminaciones se ven de gran calidad. Tuvimos que descambiarlo ya que nuestra instalación no cumplía con los requisitos para su instalación. Requiere de más conexiones que los dos cables que habitualmente llevan los cronotermostatos.

Funziona veramente molto bene. l'installazione richiede un minimo di competenza, che io non ho. per cui mi sono fatto spiegare da un amico (paziente) filo per filo come avrei dovuto collegare il dispositivo. Poi guanti di gomma isolanti, scarpe isolanti, segno della croce...e adesso va! per un elettricista é una fesseria, per cui se vi chiedono più di 30/40 euro per collegarlo, é una rapina. adesso faccio partire il riscaldamento dal cellulare e regolo un sacco di cose da remoto, interfaccia intuitivo e facile.

All'inizio è stato complicato da usare, poi abbiamo capito che esiste anche una modalità semplice in cui si comporta come un classico termostato analogico con la rotellina di gradi.Comodissimo.Peccato solo che non è retroilluminato, ma comunque si vede benissimo in casa
