Used to cut 1m long textured porcelain tiles with ease! Some tips if cutting long tiles, place a screwdriver (after scoring) under the scoreline at the end of the tile to make the break easier, also place the breaker head about 2 inches down from the start of the cutter. For more normal size tiles this is not necessary I found. The laser needs adjusting like most tools. Slide the handle all the way to the end of the cutter, then using the two screws either side of the laser lense adjust the beam so it lands on the cutting wheel. Once correctly set the laser makes measuring and cutting longer lengths much easier.

I, like most reviews tile alot, bought this based on price and needed a 1200mm . The other reviews are very accurate in that it only needs a light touch, if you use it like your rambo it will shatter tiles every time. But if you adopt a light touch and treat it like you would treat a fine lady it will cut cleanly, reliably and is easy to use. Laser is useless, about as much use as tits on a fish but other than that a great piece of kit for cheap price.

So generally use a Rubi/Sigma cutters but needed a 1200 cutter for one job and when i state unusable i mean unusable, first cuts were off by 3mm and bar bends when you are running it along the length to score the tile, the snapbar just flaps about also so you have to hold it up before you even start to score, ended up just grinding all the tiles, £100+ to not even get one tile cut. This isnt even bring up the supposedly bad laser.

Needed a large tile cutter to cut 10mm 800 x 800 porcelain tiles. To be honest, was sceptical given the price and was fully expecting to have to grind every tile. It worked brilliantly. all cuts were perfect. Bear in mind that the scoring wheel is exactly that for scoring, so there is a bit of movement in the middle, but don't overwork it let the wheel do its thing and then gently use the breaking mechanism. I even managed a 15mm strip along the full length of the tile ( my Rubi 700 can struggle with that). Excellent value and don't be put off by negative reviews.

We purchased 1200 X 600 tiles, but they were extremly thin being only 6mm thick. Some did break away from scored line, despite slowly and delicately scoring numerous times, but is this related to tile thickness ?? A couple more broken tiles, compensates for price of tile cutter. Its been a one off job, highly unlikely I will use it again.

Great product

I ordered this as I needed to cut some 800x800 porcelain tiles. It was great for the first few cuts, but after a couple struggle to break them after scoring. This is because there is only one foot to apply pressure, which isn't enough over 800mm. Also the frame of the cutter flexes as pressure is applied, rather than the pressure going into the tile.

Le coupe pavé à l air bien , il coupe net , le laser et les accessoires d équerrages sont pas top mais l important et de couper les pavés . Bon produit je recommande 👌

Taglio preciso, usata su vari tipi di materiali: gres, monocottura ecc... , anche listone ondulato. Pienamente soddisfatto.
