Women's Waterproof Breathable Jacket, Amazon Exclusive

This is a nice, basic, sporty winbreaker-style rain jacket. It can be dressed up into a trendy street style or worn vanilla for the basic practicality of a windbreaker. I took this on a trip and it served me pretty well both walking around the city and hiking around the jungle.It will protect you well from light rain, mist, and other damp conditions, and from heavy rain for short periods of time, but I wouldn't trust it to keep me totally dry if I were out in a downpour. You could probably take the water resistance to the next level with some scotchgard, though.I would have probably given this jacket a 5/5 since I got exactly what I expected and is a good value, but it DOES advertise itself as "waterproof" right in the name so I couldn't give it full marks in good conscience.

Not sure what everyone was saying about it being to tight ay yhe bottom. I feel it is plenty loose. Fits nice, looks nice. Gave it a 4 because it might be heavier than I wanted but even then its not heavy heavy. I'm 5'1 140bought a large but I like that its a little big

Update : since this Starters jacket wasn't working I found and purchased a Columbia brand Girls jacket size 16.Surprisingly It fits much better than the Starters brand junior jacket. The zipper works and is double lined for water. It keeps me warmer on windy days.----------I was excited to order a well known brand, Starter Brand Women's waterproof breathable jacket. Amazon Exclusive.In Womens I usually wear small and it's still rather loose on me in the shoulders and arms section.The jacket is lined, which is great for those chilly days. Initially I was happy that the sleeves fit my arms.. The waist was a bit snug. The zipper was defective. Once I unzipped it to put the jacket on, it was near impossible to zip up the jacket once on. Even tried zipping it while on the hanger, after several attempts it finally zipped.I should have ordered a pullover instead since that's how this zippered windbreaker gets on.

I love this jacket, with only one complaint - the bottom of the jacket fits a little too tight. I am not a big person, and have always been able to order size 6/8 or Mediums without an issue. The bottom of this jacket is so small that I wasn't able to fasten the bottom of it without a little bit of a struggle. Other than that, I love the jacket - it's good quality, and was a very good price. It arrived in less than two days. If you have a larger mid-section, I wouldn't recommend this jacket, but other than that, I'd highly recommend.

If you want it to fit like it does the model in the picture, you're going to need to have no hips, like she does. It's a bit narrow in the hips if you order your size. I'm usually a size 6-8 and usually order a medium. This fits everywhere except the hips. I'm keeping it despite that, it's a nice jacket and I need it like TOMORROW. I'll just hike it up a bit.

I wear a size M, but ordered a size L, and I’m glad I did because the only problem I have with this jacket is that its not warm at all. I got it big enough where I can wear a warmer sweater underneath. Then I’ll be dry & warm in some cold rain. If you plan on doing that, I’d size up. Other than all that, the jacket is definitely waterproof, and fits true to size.

The sizing is a little small but can make it work, as it was only $10!!! i ordered the XL, am 5'2/185. Only con is it does make the bag noise when wearing. I do really like the liner too! Happy with my purchase :)

I do not know how the sweep of this jacket is fitting anyone. I wear a size 4 jean and the jacket won’t close over my hips. Sizing is awful. On this jacket. Looks like a girls size jacket. And the sleeves are short too. Very disappointed with this waste of money. No more Starter for me. I’ll stick to Adidas
