CALA Tangle Free Whales Hair Brush

When I made my sister a gift basket featuring all of my beauty essentials, this was an instant addition. I wish I'd tried it sooner, but I was intimidated by the spiky-looking bristles because my super fine hair is prone to breakage. However, it's by far the gentlest brush I've ever used. It glides effortlessly through knots and gets out tangles in one go, all without any pulling or pain, no matter how fast or hard I use it. It works equally well on wet and dry hair, at least for me. I can't speak for all hair types, but my sister has fairly thick hair and liked her brush quite a bit too. I first found it one years ago, yet I've only purchased two for myself in all that time because they're incredibly durable and easy to clean. Most excess hair just slides right off with a gentle tug. Every so often, I run a tweezers or nail file between rows to grab any stragglers and then sanitize the whole thing. A few minutes later, it's as good as new. I only "replaced" my first one when the color started fading, but I kept it as a backup because it's in absurdly good condition for its age otherwise. It's a great value at this price, and I'll continue purchasing as long as they make these!

As a recommendation from my friend who uses it as one of her tools to groom her Samoyed, I bought this brush for in-between grooming brushing with my husky-aussie mix. She has very long fur, especially in her tail which tangled easily. This brush makes it easy to work on those tangled, as well as removing some of the excess fur, without a whole lot of pulling or discomfort. Highly recommend for any pet parent as one tool to manage the fur.

Got this for my son but we cut his hair off. So my daughter and I use it. BEST brush ever!!!! We both have very tangly hair and this brush made it virtually painless. We have vowed to buy 5 more. Helps get tangles out of your hair with little to no effort. It stays together and the bristles stay in place. Works well for all types of hair. I have thin fine hair and my daughters is thick and more coarse. Perfect gift for anyone.

This brush is adorable and perfect for getting tangles out of my daughters hair. She has fine, mostly straight hair with some texture that tangled easily. She also doesn’t like to take care of her own tangles, but she is able to use this in the shower to get them out with conditioner. The bristles are very hard so for a child with a sensitive head this may be tough to use.

The only brush my toddler twins let me use. They are 4 yo with fine hair that tangles super easily! This has helped a lot along with detangling spray after baths.

Love these brushes so much! Got this one for my 5 year old granddaughter and it’s the only brush she’ll let us use on her. She says they don’t hurt her!

Details long thick hair well

Gets the knots out slowly but surely. It lets go of the hair when the knot is really stuck in there so you can slowly work away at it. It’s the only one my 2 year old won’t go screaming from. Like the tortoise and the hare story, faster isn’t always better. I think this one maintains the health of my and her hair and makes the morning and evening hair maintenance dare I say almost enjoyable. Super easy to clean out as well and good on dry or wet hair. Only con is when styling your little due to the wave of the brush it is impossible to get a straight line for pigtails for example.

Its says on many review to buy the original one. Im not even sure its that much more better. Feels a bit cheap but didnt break so far.
