Hole spacing (center to center) is approximately 3/8 inch. The 20 Amp terminal block from Blue Sea Systems for which these are designed has #6 screws. Consider the jumpers for the 30 Amp terminal block which has #8 screws. You can find product specs on the Blue Sea Systems website.

what is the purpose of a terminal block jumper?

If you wanted to bring votlage to a buss and distribute without having multiple wires under the same screw. So you would buy, lets say a 20 terminal buss. Bring the voltage in on one screw, and then use the jumpers on one side to extend. One hot wire can become 20 at that point if all are jumpered across. Hope that helps.
