Runs quietly on batteries forever
Very quiet running unit that works beautifully. I’ve run it close to 50 hours and the same batteries are still going strong. I have a backup set of batteries ready to replace when needed but it just keeps running. The Engel live bait cooler (which is phenomenal) came with aerator that was too loud. My fishing partner let me use his Hush bubbles which was much quieter, so I researched and bought the quiet bubbles which is even quieter.

It does not run on 110 volts as the name implies but works great on 12 volts and on D cells.
It is a very good product for the money. They only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it was advertised to work on 2 D cells, 12 volts, AND 110 volts but it is not equipped to run on 110 volts. I needed it to keep 3 KOI alive in a 17 gallon bucket over night, and then on a 3 hour journey home the next day. I ran it mostly on a 12 volt deep cycle marine battery but some of the time on 2 D cells. I didn't actually need to run it on 110 volts but I was extremely annoyed that it was advertised that way and doesn't do it because I had considered running it on a 12 volt-110 Volt AC inverter. It did it's job admirably for about 18 hours though. I can't comment on battery life because I did not run the D cells down, except that the package says 75 hours. I doubt that. I think they may have left out a decimal point and it should have been 7.5 hours but I don't know for sure.

READ: NEVER BUY "D" BATTERIES AGAIN
This is a great product and price from Amazon. I looked at the "D"battery version and the 12v alligator clip version before coming across this one that does both. I feel like we are way past days of paying big money to toss batteries in the landfill. Do yourself a favor and buy a "USB to DC plug" and a rechargeable USB battery pack. Both can be bought for less than $20 here on Amazon. B00L7CRDLO is the part number of the cord I chose for $10. USB Battery packs are dime a dozen at Walmart, Amazon or even gas stations these days. I've run my aerator for over 12 hours off of a TINY 3200mAh USB pack made by RavPower. The battery and cord pay for themselves within two times of buying "D" size throw away batteries. If you can't do the savings math on that, you probably shouldn't be trying to keep fish alive...

Keeps minnows alive for extended period of time.
I purchased this to avoid losing the expensive minnows in Florida at $5 for a 1/4 pound. Never lost any minnows since. Low battery useage, but I use it on an AC adapter at home after I remove it from the boat. Had a slight problem with the motor--called the company and they had another one within 2 days, no questions asked. Excellent and quick service from the company. Would recommend to anyone wishing to preserve minnows while fishing.

Pretty loud, well built
I bought this to replace an Engel pump that requires the diaphragm to be cleaned every few months or it stops producing bubbles. Also, i thought the Engel was very loud. Well this Hush bubbles is built like a tank and love having the cig hookup. However, this thing is LOUD. Much louder than what I was replacing. Ice fishing last night I had to turn it off most of the night in the shack for fear of spooking the fish and was just plain annoying. 3 stars for how well built it is. I WOULD trust it with $20 worth of shiners to keep running. The Engel had quit on my in that situation and ruined bat for a weekend fishing trip. If your looking for quiet, this ain't it.

Long lasting
With two D batteries, this sucker will go for a long time. Had it running for over 48 hours, kept going. Only turned off because my shrimp were gone! Love the 12 volt connection, great for having on the boat. When you use the 12volt, it seems to have more oompf and pumps more air, it's a tad louder anyway. So, no complaints, works great!

Terrible.
Would leave zero stars if I could. Bought for fish house live well, and didn’t work from the start. If it wasn’t such a pain in the butt to return-I would.

Still operating well after 3+ years. It runs very quiet compared to my other unit from Bass Pro Shop which is very loud & noisy.
