APT Polyimide Adhesive Tape: Solution for High-Temperature Projects and Laptop Repairs!
One of the standout features of this tape is its thickness. At 1 mil, it offers a robust and durable solution for various applications. Whether I'm using it for masking, soldering, electrical work, or 3D printer projects, it consistently delivers outstanding results. I was particularly thrilled to discover that this tape is an excellent and exact replacement for the Polyimide Adhesive Tape that originally came with my MSI laptop, which I purchased several years ago. It's not always easy to find a product that matches the quality and specifications of the original, but the APT Polyimide Adhesive Tape does just that. It adheres securely, even in high-temperature environments, ensuring that my laptop and other devices are well-protected.

Perfect for wrapping battery packs
I got this tape to wrap some lifepo4 packs I made and it worked great. I've had problems in the past with kapton tape that wasn't very sticky but this stuff is sticky af. It sticks to everything. It has decent release as well but make sure you put it where you want it the first time. This tape is everything you want it to be. Plenty thick and won't tear unless you nick it with a knife first. Best part is it's a couple bucks less expensive that most of the other ones on Amazon. So buy it now and wrap those batteries!

Easy to work with
Def way better than the cheap laptop tape. Doesn't tear as easily and is much easier to work with

No bad, not great.
In all fairness it does mention 1 mil but that is way too thin. Still, it works great.

this tape is seriously sticky and actually stays put
needed some kapton tape for a 3d printing project and this stuff is exactly what i was looking for. it sticks like crazy and doesn't tear when you're pulling it off the roll which was my biggest issue with cheaper brands i tried before. the 2 inch width is perfect and the roll lasts forever so i'll definitely be buying this again when i run out.

Amazing Kapton with PLA and PETG results and application instructions in review...
I did a lot of research to find the best value for this type of tape. Using a small printer to try it out I first wiped the print bed with some alcohol to make sure it was clean for adhesion. Then inspected it for any leftover materials talk to it and clean that up. There is a photo of the thickness on my caliper in the photo section. I always like to leave a folded area of tape on my bed so that I can reach it easily to peel it off. I do the same fold on the roll so I don't have to waste time trying to peel it off the roll when needed. Also, the tape starts about an inch BEFORE the YELLOW pull tab. I kept trying to get my finger nail under the pull tab and then I hunted down the elusive beginning of the roll and found it way before the tab. I have already put about 40 hours on this one application alone and it’s doing great. If you look at the photos you will see my application method including using a plastic card from my wallet to act as a application squeegee. When you put it down side by side, squeegee the joint first. Normally I work from the center out but the joint is so important if your printing over it and don't want a line to show up. Even though I did not need to I treated it like a window tent installation and if I saw a bubble I just poked it with a sharp point and then push the air out. The white photo on the green board shows the surface quality with PLA from the tape. The Black item is the PETG. What really surprised me was how will the items state attached and I had not noticed any edge working yet. Always make sure you try to detach your object at an extremely low angle. Never use a tool that might get out your tape and print bed. I practically slide a putty knife that’s been beveled from one side only to the edge so that I don’t really have to tilt the knife to get it under the plastic. The biggest shock for me was that it actually held the PETG plastic which is supposed to be very difficult especially since I can only hit my bed to 60°C. Every time I used it the PETG stuck. The original tape is still on the print but at this moment and it’s extremely easy to peel off. Many people always complain about the thickness of the tape but I’ve been very satisfied with what I have. It works great for me and I’m sure you’ll find out that it will work great for you. I hope this helps you make your decision. I will buy more from this seller. I really really hope you LIKE t his video. Have a great build!

Saved us so much money
We used to order this from a different vendor, but the price kept rising so we turned to amazon. I was excited to see that this seller not only offered exactly what we needed but at an excellent price. The delivery was quick, and the quality is great. We will definitely be ordering this again.

Very, very strong adhesive and quite heat resistant tape.
Amazing tape - very sticky and the adhesive is quite heat resistant. Being very thin, the tape tends to curl which makes the sticky side prone to touching something, like another part of the tape, and is so sticky it must be discarded. Also, it sometimes rips when taking it off the roll which can be tricky to reset. Possibly the vendor should offer different tape thicknesses to counter these issues. But, the tape really works well and survives hot environments - both the kapton and the adhesive.

It works well.
I use it to compress small lifepo4 battery cells in the making of batterys. It works very well, doesnt stretch, sticks very well with no degredation that ive noticed yet, heat rated. Good stuff, ill buy it again.

No cumple con descripción
Se recibió producto, pero no cumple totalmente con la descripción. Es una cinta de Poliamida genérica, pero saca el trabajo... El adhesivo es... regular.
