tape fitting an imperial measurements

The thread size of the fitting is 3/4 bsp (British Standard Pipe) Usually installed onto a Hose union bib tap.

can the hose be used on a hose reel, or does it need to be fully unwound to allow the expansion?

Hi thank you for your enquiry. This is an expanding hose and will need to be completely unwound from a storage reel to allow for full expansion.

What actually comes in the standard box

Hello Joe you get the hose with the female fittings already fitted. There is a basic nozzle at the spray end but you can fit a different type of gun or nozzle if you have one or buy one. The tap end has a 3/4 bsp threaded tap connector which fits 90% of UK garden taps and also a 3/4-1/2in adaptor should you have a smaller size. Again you can fit the female connector on the end of the hose to any Hozelock tap connector if you have to connect to a different type of tap. i hope this helps Phill

I purchased hose in July 2020 , sadly unit has failed and despite requesting advice from supplier i have heard nothing . Am I eligible for a replaceme

Same here - mine has not lasted a few weeks and something wrong at middle of hose and no longer works. This is second one I've had: I would avoid purchasing....
