JacloB730-PCH Storm Showerhead, Polished Chrome

This is a great showerhead. It delivers a lot of water in nice, fat streams instead of the pins and needles spray that seems to be all the rage. The price is a bit high, though, especially as some outfits are charging $265 for it, instead of the $200 I paid. It came with a water saving washer which I had to replace, water not being in short supply where I live.

This shower head is very heavy and the quality is evident. I like the infinite adjustability and the simple approach to changing the water stream. It and the Speakman share this adjustability approach. The Jaclo is a smooth operation with brilliant chrome finish.

This shower head looks solid when you first take it out of the package, but it is poorly made. I returned it after 2 months when the chrome surface started to rust. I received a replacement which broke immediately. The ball joint collapses when you tighten the connection to the shower arm. Additionally, one of the spigots would not retract. This time, the retailer would not take it back, and insisted that I call Jaclo directly. However, Jaclo does not pick up on its customer service number: it’s one of those scams where a recorded voice says “are you still there?”, then hangs up. Save your money, but a Speakman instead.
