Alphonse Mucha (Art Colouring Book): Make Your Own Art Masterpiece (Colouring Books)

After going to an Alphonse Mucha exhibition west of Glasgow I was keen to try my hand at an Art Colouring book and when I had ordered this bookI was awe struck as the images are the same as the exhibition which I had seen. Because of the images in the book are very fine detailed they take time to do. What helped me with the detail were the colour examples as these are the same as the Mucha posters which are beneficial if you are an art noveau fan this book ticked all the boxes I was very impressed with the book. It is very challenging and each image can be removed and can be put into a frame so I can have an Alphonse Mucha piece of art work in my home.

Bought this as it was two of my loves : colouring & Mucha together!!I wasn’t disappointed at all.It’s a fabulous colouring book, has wonder pictures to complete.The paper quality is good and I used both pencils and pens on the pages with no transfer through.

It is worth reading the very comprehensive review written by Hazel Smithies here as it is thorough, but I also wanted to add my appreciation of a really beautiful adult colouring book. Quality paper, more card weight really, with so many stunning designs for you to colour and create your own interpretation or to copy from original design sources. Each design has a perforated edge to ensure detachment, should you wish to frame an individual artwork. An exceptional design source providing many hours of colouring pleasure and relaxation.

A truly lovely colouring book. A picture on every facing page with a colour guide on the opposite page although I prefer to pick my own colours so far pleased with the results

A beautiful book, top quality paper and wonderful designs. My favourite for colouring at the moment. Colour blends well and pictures are one sided and perforated for removal if desired. Plenty of detail. I cannot recommend this book too highly.
