No, wouldn't think so. It's pretty lightweight. Scalp feels clean /clear after using.

Is this product suitable for children under 10

When putting on the shampoo should I rinse straight away or leave it on for a few minutes before rinsing?

I have thick hair which tends to grow thicker faster than it gets longer, I found the longer I left this on the fluffier my hair became, if I left it too long sometimes I would need to use EXTRA mousse/hair cream to control it. This is a great product and it didn't take too long to judge the amount that sorted my hair, so the answer is by trial and error you will find what suits you, I would just caution to start small and increase gradually till you find what you like, plus side bottle lasts longer, hope this helps.
