Excellent HDMI Switch – Simple Setup and Works Great
I bought this HDMI switch because I was running out of HDMI ports on my TV, and it solved the problem perfectly. I currently have multiple devices connected, including a streaming stick, gaming console, and Blu-ray player, and switching between them is quick and hassle-free. The picture quality is excellent with no noticeable loss in video or audio quality. Everything displays clearly, and the 4K signal passes through without any issues. The included remote is a nice bonus and makes switching inputs much more convenient than getting up every time. Setup took less than five minutes—just plug in your devices, connect the output to your TV, and you're ready to go. The switch automatically detects active devices, which is another feature I appreciate. The unit feels well-made, compact, and doesn't take up much space in my entertainment center. For anyone who needs additional HDMI ports without replacing their TV or constantly swapping cables, this is a great and affordable solution. Pros: ✔ Easy plug-and-play setup ✔ Supports clear 4K video output ✔ Convenient remote control included ✔ Compact design ✔ Reliable switching between devices Overall, this HDMI switch works exactly as advertised and has made managing multiple devices much easier. Highly recommended.

Worth the Money!
Great little switch and I love the auto source feature once you turn on a device that is hooked in through the switch

Useful for setups with limited HDMI ports
Great switchbox, it automatically switches to the correct input when you turn the device on. (Although that can sometimes be a negative if you have a chromecast plugged in and it auto-updates itself mid-movie or game)

Works well on old Samsung plasma tv that only had 2 hdmi ports
I’m technology simple. Lots of choices for gadgets like these, many specifically stating “won’t work in Samsung TV’s”. But I needed more hdmi ports and have a tv that works great….so I took a chance on this. Glad I did! Roku stick works, so do dvd player, gaming unit and blue tooth dongle thingy. As others have mentioned, this unit will automatically toggle to each device as it’s powered on. My personally? I’d rather push a button the remote to select which hdmi input to stream from. But that’s old school. I will adapt! Picture and sound quality are excellent. I used two sided tape to attach it to tv. My old Samsung plasma tv has a usb slot on the back…which is how this gadget works. I didn’t know if it would work but it does! No additional cords hanging down to a power outlet! NOTE: this only comes with a short usb power cable….no wall plug included. I highly recommend this hdmi multi-port adapter. It worked well on my old Samsung plasma tv…literally plug and play! Thanks for reading my review. I hope it helped

HDMI SWITCH - DOES WHAT IT'S SUPPOSED TO DO
The 14 year old Onkyo home theater receiver in my basement rec room finally succumbed to the dreaded and infamous HDMI switching failure. Onkyo USA replaced the switching board once about 10 years ago under a 1-time service initiative , but the second time I was on my own. All other aspects of the receiver work great but HDMI switching was broke. Instead of sending the Onkyo to the rummage-sale pile and buying new, I did some research and found this little HDMI switch box gem. 5 inputs were just enough for me with 1 TV output. The trick to this setup is that I use the analog RCA output on my 14 year old Panasonic plasma to feed the single TV Audio input on my Onkyo. Saved myself about $700 using this little HDMI switcher. The one question I still have on this unit is if the power supply is really required....seems to work OK without it. Fully satisfied customer. WIll buy other products by SGEYR.

Doesn't work! Boot cycles. Multiple cord types tested.
I've purchased this item twice. Neither time did it work. The first time was Dec 2021. My mistake was not opening and testing this HDMI switcher within a couple months. By the time I opened it and attempted implementing it, it didn't work. Wouldn't function at all. No lights. I found a worse temporary solution. I've moved and decided to give the product another try. This version does light up, but it wouldn't hold a connection. After testing multiple 1.3, 1.4, 2.2, and other HDMI cable types, a consistent problem occurred. My monitor detects when connected devices are connected or turned on. Upon connecting my laptop through this switch, the monitor turns on and attempts to connect. My laptop screen would flash as if preparing to sync with another screen. After a couple seconds of blue screen, my monitor turns off. Another couple seconds pass and this cycle repeats. Monitor turns on. Both monitor and laptop screen blink as they sense each other. Connection fails and my monitor turns off. Repeat. I tested both power sources from both products to see if my original unit would work. Nope, but both power cords work with the newer version. You might be lucky enough to receive one of the functioning units many other reviewers seem to have received. I alternatively received 2 bad units. My disappointment is immeasurable and my setup is ruined. I'll be returning this and am undecided if I'll include both of my malfunctioning units in the box. Might keep the old one for target practice as returning it won't actually return the money I spent on it back in 2021. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice and I'll take my money elsewhere.

Great for the price!
It's a simple 5 HDMI Input to One HDMI Output box. You don't even have to use the remote control if you are using one Input source at a time. I use mine for gaming consoles. So what happens is when I shut off one console and turn on the next console, the box will auto-switch to the input that is being sent to it. You will have to use the switch button or the remote control if you are feeding the box multiple HDMI inputs at once. Keep in mind that the unit doesn't come with AAA batteries for your remote, or a USB Wall Power Supply. It will come with the correct cable to hook up to the unit, but either you need to supply a USB Wall Power Supply (cheap) or see if your TV/Soundbar/Receiver have an USB Input that outputs enough power. I use the TV method and I run the USB cable from the unit to the back of my TV and feed it to its only USB Input. It works great and unit shuts off when the TV is off. Keep in mind if you want to power off the unit by yourself, you will have to use the remote control. The unit it doesn't have a power on/off button. The Red LED Light is brighter than I would like. I use a Lights Out LED Dimmer Sticker to reduce the brightness for me. I didn't noticed any input lag or video issues when using the unit. For the price give it a shot, if looking for a simple HDMI switch box then this one works and it's at a good price. Yes there some quirks, but the value makes up for it.

Does not work for PS5 - Look for their HDMI 2.0
Update: I wrote this review when i plugged it in and noticed it did not work for the PS5. The company emailed me and sent me the 2.0 to change out. I did not write this thinking I was going to get a response at all. I was super frustrated because it was the second HDMI switch that i had bought. I have this one in my master bedroom and it works perfectly with my XBOX one. So fast forward and I received the 2.0 switch and it works with the PS5 perfectly! You need to change the settings on the PS5 for the sound not to cut out. You go into settings, then screen and video, then video and change the 4k video transfer rate to -2. Once i made this setting change it has worked perfectly and there have been no problems. Their customer service and willingness to help me was 5 star so i changed my rating. Thank you so much! So happy with the purchase! ---------------------------------- Just received this today and excited to set it up. I have my cable, Firestick and Nintendo setup on it perfectly. Went to plug in and use my ps5 and doesn’t connect at all. So now I have to bypass the splitter altogether and plug it directly into the sound bar which I was wanting to avoid doing. Pretty disappointed as I’ll have to switch out every time I want to switch back and forth. Don’t get if you have a ps5
