Uni-ball Power Tank Ballpoint Retractable & Fine Ballpoint Pen Rubber Grip Type-0.7mm-black Ink-value Set of 10

I love these pens. I found them years ago when I used to travel to Japan and then forgot about them. I have several Fisher space pens but it's a real pain in the butt when you lose one of these because they aren't cheap. These are the equivalent in a throwaway form factor. They aren't so expensive that you cry when you misplace it or somebody walks off with it. It writes upside down and on wet things just like a fisher space pen without the exorbitant cost. They are comfortable and the fine point works very well, never clogs never gets scratchy. I love these, and everybody that tries one usually wants to walk away with my pen. If I like them I let them because at this price I can buy several at once.

Been looking for these for years--thank goodness for Amazon; because, I don't think they are available in stores anymore (at least none that I have seen). Wonderful ability to write upside down, under wet conditions and permanantly without smudging or smearing! Rubber grip is nice and is very durable! Wish it came in "wider version" for larger hands; but, "grip" is good. Also, didn't realize they were "fine point" when ordered; however, the "ink spread" was good and did not "skip" during "rapid writing" so was maybe a "positive" mistake as it "writes just as well and with a thinner line!" Nice "bulk" package, too, so I am "never without a good quality pen!"

The pen is amazing. The best part is writing in any angle and upside down. It had a decent weight. The pen ink flows very liberally, despite the small tip. Definitely my go-to every time.

Smooth writing with either hand and at any angle that I've tried so far. The 0.7 tip ends up writing more like a 0.5 line width, which is what I was initially searching for. Low friction / drag while writing, and minimal smudging. This pen is currently getting more of a workout than any of my Fisher SpacePens because it's a better fit for my writing grip at a fraction of the weight & price. The grip is about the width of the Clutch (metal barrel retractable) or Eclipse (plastic barrel retractable) , slightly wider than the Bullet (regular metal barrel with cap & optional pocket clip) or AG-7 (metal barrel retractable, 'original astronaut pen'), and definitely wider than a Cap-o-Matic (plastic barrel retractable / stick-type). The price for a box of ten PowerTank pens is on par with one plastic barrel SpacePen. The multipack lets me put pens in multiple places, and lets each member of our family unit claim their own if they want to.

Good pen

These .07 tank pens do write very fine lines smoothly on vertical surfaces, but the ink is so light I can barely read what I've written. The ink is more grey than black.

These pens will not die in your vehicle outside in the heat or cold. They only stop working when they are out of ink. And I mean almost every drop. I never want to use another type of pen again. These also come at a great price for what they are.

Fantastic pens. I bought these as gifts for professionals that work outdoors in rain and New England winter climate and these pens perform as well, if not better than a very notable comparable brand that charges much more for their pens. These also have a huge reserve of ink! Mine has run flawless for nearly a year now - amazing I haven't lost it but at their price I can afford to. Highly recommend these pens. Thanks for reading. Spring 2015 update. These pens are as good as any Space type out there and hold way more ink. My crew has had them in use for years without issue (other than loosing them). Great pens. Smoothe, and can write upsidedown and in the rain as advertised. Both the 1.0mm and 0.7mm write smoothly and are well-balanced. The ink cartridges are large and last longer than average pen. My daily go-to.

This is my favourite pen. It's like a space pen in that the ink cartridges are pressurized so you can write upside down with them and they keep working. It writes smoothly for the whole cartridge until it runs out, and then it's empty - it either writes or it doesn't, there is no in between. I keep a couple in the car because they don't freeze in the winter. If you've ever needed to use a pen in the winter only to find it didn't work because the ink froze, you will want one (or a box) of these dependable, all year pens.

I have been ordering and using these pens for many years. I like them because I like to do crosswords in bed and these pens write upside down. They last for a long time.
