Haven't gotten to use it yet. But it survived my house fire. Still in one piece and just a tad scorched. I'll update when I get to actually cook with it.

I do not like the heavy all cast iron cookers as by the time the sandwich is ready I am ready to give up holding it over the fire. This is made of a lightweight metal and still has a non stick surface. I don't stick it directly the fire but hold it over the fire so much better solution for me. This version is hard to find as most stores only sell the cast iron version now.

We used this once and accidentally left a sandwich in there just a little too long so the bread got a bit charred. It wasn't excessive, just the "scrape off the burned bits with a butter knife" stage. Unfortunately the charred bread seemed to be permanently bonded with the teflon coating. I tried everything I could think of to remove it. I left it soak in soapy water for days and scrubbed with a teflon safe scrubby but it wouldn't budge. I tried a baking soda soak for several days which also didn't work. Then I tried making a paste of baking soda and scrubbing, nothing. I tried soaking it in a citric acid solution which also didn't work. Then some concentrated oxyclean type bleach. Finally I scrubbed it with a Mr. Clean magic eraser and the non-stick coating started to flake off along with the burned bits. We have a second one from another brand that's cast iron and it's been way better, more even heat an none of the issue with a non-stick coating.

I received the cookers much earlier than expected, a month earlier as they were out of stock when I ordered them, 5 stars for that! However, I ordered 2, one was new, as expected, and I am happy about that. The other was obviously a previous return, packaging stapled back together, handles twisted and slightly bent and a critical-to-function piece missing. These issues, to me, were worth fixing rather than returning the product, but worth mentioning to future buyers. Note to the product vendor, don't do that! If you're going to sell a product that is not in new condition, then advertise and price it that way, not all consumers will be as forgiving or handy as me ;p

Great for campfire pizzas! Easy to clean and work well! Two slices bread, some cheese and sauce and you have an easy dinner! Make sure you spray with Pam though so nothing sticks!

I purchased this on a whim because I was going camping and I was not disappointed. This product is very good and produces delicious sandwiches! I also cooked my eggs in it the next morning because I was too lazy to find where my pan had gone and this cooked the eggs just fine. Such a good product.

We've been using this brand of aluminum cookers for my entire life and my entire family loves them!! Very durable! 100 times better than any cast iron cookers, as they are extremely heavy and tend to cause burnt food quite often once they're hot!

Love this camp cooker. Used it to make pilsubry cinamon rolls for breakfast and they were delicious! The only thing is if you are cooking on direct fire they do get pretty black. We used our coleman stove.

These are for my dad's birthday, as he remembers back in the day when he was younger with some friends around a campfire making cherry pie desserts with them. They came pretty quickly, and looked exactly like the photos, and do not seem like cheap material. Only thing would be they really need to relook at packaging...... a huge box for 2 x small and thin items.... wasteful.
