Love this Laptop
I decided it was time for a new laptop and spent some time researching the market. I wanted something which was full size, with good battery life, up to date for hardware, reasonably priced and not too heavy as it would spend a lot of time in a backpack. This laptop was absolutely the perfect choice for all of this. I dont need anything super powerful, its mainly for spreadsheets/web browsing/word documents and powerpoints and it handles all of this perfectly. The battery life currently lasts me about 8/9 hours in a day. Its light enough that I can feel it on my back but doesnt make it uncomfortable to carry. The design is slick and modern (it looks a lot like a MacBook). The keyboard is very nice to type on. It charges to 100% in about 2 hours. DDR4 RAM and 8th Gen Intel chip mean it should easily last me a few years to come and the price for all this is so much better than anything else thats on the market. This laptop really is wow. Its also silent, I've heard the fans only a few times, during my days of browsing and typing they usually never turn on. Incredibly happy with it. Would recommend it to anyone who needs a work device.

Great Laptop, but
I bought the laptop to use it for uni, It is fairly fast with an SSD, 8 GB of ram and an i3 processor.Looking at laptops in the same price range, this particular one is the best looking, Anything else in this price range is just ugly. The battery life is good, but upon setting it up, I installed Hardware Monitor to see how it copes with temperatures and usage. As I do my tests and updates, I notice the battery life is not 100%, but it was 95% This could mean the battery or my laptop was used for a good while before it was sent to me, or maybe it was sitting for a long time. I do not know. If anyone would buy something new would expect everything in that product to be new, and not used.Maybe it is one-off.The screen quality is good, the battery lasts ok, It is snappy, the keyboard has a nice click to it, the trackpad is nice and supports gestures.Another nice thing about it is that it has a Huawei driver manager, meaning you don't have to worry about going to sketchy websites looking for drivers if you do a clean install.Overall a great product, Lovely looking, not too heavy It's the battery thing I was concerned about.

Good ultrabook
Good 13 inch ultrabook. Powerful CPU and lovely touchscreen. SSD in the 512GB model is a Western Digital SN720 SDAPNTW-512G. Comes with a Matedock 2 plugs into one of the USB-C ports and gives you another USB-C port, VGA, HDMI and a USB A port.Things to note:The Huawei Share sticker on the palm rest is a NFC sticker that you tap your Huawei phone onto to make Huawei Share work. Do not remove it if you want to use Huawei Share. If you don't have a Huawei phone or don't care about Huawei Share then you can peel it off.Ignore the part where it says "The i7 variant comes with NVIDIA GeForce MX150, perfect for casual gaming and photo editing." The UK i7 model does NOT have the nVidia MX150 and you only get the stock Intel integrated graphics. The MX150 GPU is only present in models in other countries.

Don't be attracted by the looks and price, these really aren't made well.
I've had 2 of these from Amazon, both have gone back for a refund. First arrived and the screen had horrible IPS glow to the point where I could see it when watching videos and the second had a buzzing left speaker and the trackpad would rattle.Sure, the specs are decent for the price, but it's clear they cut costs elsewhere. I wouldn't touch another Huawei product. I'd rather spend the extra money and get something more reliable and I suggest you do the same.

Light, portable and powerful
I bought this laptop mostly for the screen and it has not disappointed. The screen is sharp, bright and the colour contrast is excellent. For general productivity it is fine it handles office applications with no problem whatsoever. It is responsive and has handles everything I need with ease, mostly Office and Illustrator. The keyboard is nice to type on with the keys having plenty of travel, the track-pad is perfectly usable although I would recommend a mouse for long periods. The battery is pretty much as advertised but you will need the charger to hand for long days, one advantage is the fast charge function, this is excellent, the charger can also charge my phone, so one less charger to carry about. Overall, delighted with this laptop it is good value for money.

Broke after 8 months for no reason
I was quite enjoying the laptop which I used for browsing the internet, studies and series - so quite light use. There was no touchscreen and the mouse pad was a bit annoying sometimes when it clicked where I didn't mean for it to but I wasn't bothered enough to return it as I was in South Africa. After only 8 months of owning it, it unexpectedly wouldn't turn on after functioning normally (but the charging light went on when I charged it so there was a sign of life). Huawei SA refused to repair it. Huawei UK said I'd have to courier it at my own cost to the UK. I needed a laptop quite urgently so I took it to a local computer repair person knowing I was risking my warranty cover but he was unable to fix it. Months later I returned to the UK and sent the laptop to Huawei for repairs - they returned it due to unauthorised repairs (fair enough) but I was never even given the option to pay for them to repair it. I took it to another repair person who has said the motherboard is broken and with the amount wrong with it and lack of available parts, it is better for me to buy a new laptop. So £800 for a laptop that worked for 8 months before blowing its' motherboard for absolutely no reason (no water damage, no overheating, a single short drop from the couch to the floor a few weeks prior with no noticeable damage in functionality - then I literally put it to sleep, drove somewhere, tried to turn it on after I arrived and it was broken beyond repair). Don't waste your money. I will now purchase a laptop from a brand known for producing computers specifically and with a reputation of reliability and available parts.

Really nice and well made.
Brilliant. Well built, good keyboard and fires up in just 5 seconds with SSD. Can not fault it.
