Superior quality sounds than the Elixir
These are strings are AWESOME! They are the perfect tone for my Taylor Mini GS. Deep, vibrant tone that has a smooth, low-key reverb to them. The strings are extremely smooth and feel amazing against the fingertips. I have always used the Elixir Phosphor Bronze Nano strings and they are great, but these strings just sound better to me and for half the price of the Elixir strings.

Good, light strings
The strings look great, the low E, A, and G are like a warm gold color. I think it looks great on my dark brown guitar. The thinness makes bending easier, and they don’t sound too bright brand new which I like. I will probably buy these again, they’re pretty comfortable.

Did pretty good.
I’ve bought regular earth wood strings for my acoustic and they did well and brightened up a cheap guitar. This time I got the rock and blues version and they sound so good. They’ve got that country twang still but very bluesy and that’s what I wanted. I’m in need of replacement La now but they w lasted a while. Sometimes my guitar gets knocked out of tune very easily and I’m not sure why. I wouldn’t think it was the strings causing it though. For a beginner I would go with a lighter gauge string until you build your fingers up to the harder pressing of a acoustic guitar with heavier strings. I would recommend these for any novice or above player that’s wants a little extra tone for their style and playability especially blues and rock musicians. They sound great! Always an Earnie Ball fan at over 20 years using them.

Easy on the fingers without sacrificing sound
Over the years I’ve tried dozens of strings looking for the best combination of playability and tone and these strings are the best I’ve found. I’m mostly an electric player so I don’t have the callouses to handle heavier string gauges, these are the best I’ve found for my situation. I also like the plain G for the type and style of music I play.

First string change
I used these to change out the manufacturers strings. Easier on the fingers and better sounding.

My go-to acoustic guitar strings!
These strings are great if you’re trying to get back into playing and build your callouses and finger strength back up due to the lighter gauge. The G-string is not wound like the lower strings, something my guitar-playing family members always comment on when they come over and play my acoustic. I’m not much of a soloist, but supposedly the lighter gauge on the high strings is good for bends and stuff. Maybe I’ll get there one day. For now, I buy these for the playability, and also the lower volume. If you have other people in the house or live in an apartment, you won’t be blasting anyone away with loud playing. Don’t be mistaken, they can still hold their own. The only “con” I’ve found is that they discolor quickly. They look bright and amazing for about a week, then the golden sheen just kind of dies down into an aged brass color. The picture I’ve included is after about a month. I always feel good about the quality of these strings because they come in a foil-lined pouch, and each individual string comes in a paper envelope, which is individually marked. Overall, my go-to acoustic strings. Will they be yours?

All I use
Ernie Ball is the only strings I use on all my guitars, bass and electric. These have a great sound, easy on the fingers and last a very long time. They may tarnish a bit over time, but they sound like new for a good long while. They're not as bright as 80/20's but that warm woody sound it what I'm going for, so these are perfect.
