While preparing potting mix, take 3 part garden soil + 1 part vermicompost/ cowdung manure + 1 part cocopeat/ perlite/ sand (for good drainage). This is useful for general flowering plants. If you want to add it to already potted plants, then just mix 1/2 feastful of vermicompost with top layer of soil (avoiding the area close to stem).
