THIS IS NOT REALLY NAAN—DISHONEST PRODUCT; ALSO CONTAINS EGG.
I have eaten real naan and made naan many times in my life, so I know what naan is. I was excited to see this product and bought it from the local store, despite its higher price. There are 2 things wrong with this product:1. First of all, this bread contains egg. This is a very serious problem. First of all, you never put eggs in making naan (traditionally). Secondly, many people are vegetarians (for diet and/or religious reasons), and this company is damaging their diet and religious sentiments by adding eggs to a bread, where one would never expect meat (which eggs are) to be present. (Granted, eggs are listed in the ingredient list, in fine print, but a large sign would be better to warn people).2. Secondly, the naan is too flimsy. It breaks and tears easily, as they put too much water (costing < 1 cent per pound) and less flour (which costs around 25 cents/lb) in the batter, to save on their cost. Naan is supposed to be thick and hard, more like crusty French breads, and you have to pull it apart hard with both hands to get a piece. But this “naan” is closer to $1 generic bread slices that stick to the roof of your mouth than real naan. Now you can put the 2 points together and see why they put a totally unconventional ingredient, egg, in it—it is to hold the soupy batter together, to save money on flour. In sum, this is not real naan. I hope the company will be honest and stop calling it “naan”, let alone falsely claiming it to be “authentic” or “original”, which it is not.

Best pizza crust on the market
I've made pizza with every possible pizza crust in the supermarket, and these are far and away the best. They also sell them in larger rectangular flatbread sizes, but those are a little too leathery and tough. And they sell garlic versions, which are tasty but tend to overpower the other ingredients of the pizza. The original naans have the perfect thickness, texture, and seasoning. Preheat your oven to 400, and cook on center rack (with or without a pan underneath) for 9 1/2 to 10 minutes.

Overpriced
Way overpriced. Same item at a fraction of the price at whole food
