Sturdy, clips well

A lot of my paperwork works best with a landscape-shaped work area. I use clipboards all the time and have been annoyed constantly with the clip being on the side while I work. "Surely someone has invented a sideways clipboard," and yep, they surely have and they're available on Amazon! This one is made with a very sturdy board and the aluminum coating looks and feels like metal to me. Another reviewer said it was just plastic, but I don't think so. In any case, it looks good and is holding up well. I will be buying more of these.

Wanted the landscape mode. Came wrapped in clear plastic with a sticker that said made in China, fwiw. Made of plastic which is coated with Looks like an aluminum board. Seems like the coating will last awhile, but I have only used a few weeks. The clipboard is thick enough to feel sturdy and with writing on a pad on the lap does not flex under reasonable pressure. Weighs 11.4 ounces so lightweight and easy to put in the book bag and carry around. Product Dimensions 12.2 x 9.2 x 0.4 inches, the clip is in landscape mode, ad says can handle 1/2" thick items, study clip with plastic grabbers will easily and securely hold the typical tablet. No boards will allow reading a magazine and using a highlighter on the left side page as there is not enough support. Overall seems to be of good value and functional.

I purchased one of these landscape oriented clipboards a little over a year ago and it's held up like a champ! It's made of plastic inner core laminated both sides with a thin aluminum skin. However, unlike the easy to crack plastic variety, this plastic/aluminum combination makes for a rugged board that can take rigors of daily use. Another upside to this clipboard is it doesn't get bent out of shape like the pricier thin "aluminum" models on the market. The horizontal orientation works great for portrait or landscape paperwork, or drawing paper. - I just bought two more to give as gifts!

I bought these for my staff, who are right- and left-handed. They like and appreciate them.

Nice solid feel and the document clip works fine, but the finish is rubbing off the back and marking up my desk. Started the first day I used it. Ended up putting scotch tape on all 4 corners as protectors. Not a bad product just needs a more durable finish.

Was trying to buy an A3 clipboard. When I put A3 clipboard in Amazon search, it gave me A4 clipboards too, so this was bought in error. My fault for ordering while I was in a hurry. Pretty decent clipboard though, just no use to me.
