Weber 60540 Charcoal, Spirit, Q Grill Replacement Thermometer, 1-13/16" Diameter

The title says it all. Works and easy to install.

Temperature gauge is perfect for my smoky Joe. Along with the bezel, it fit perfectly and is accurate. I don’t understand why they don’t come with them on the Smoky Joe especially you’re out camping or in a place that is remote. You gotta know how hot or how cold your coals are. This was exactly what I was looking for. Came on time was packaged well, fit perfectly and now it looks like it came as this when I first bought my Smoky Joe. Great product. Thanks!

I am happy with this thermometer for my basic 22" Weber. Take the time to drill the hole with care and use a bit that is sharp and go easy as to not chip the enamel of the grill. Mine is 10 degrees off on the low side but that is not an issue at all if you keep it in mind while smoking meats. If you install the thermometer half way between the handle and lip of the lid it makes it easy to place the thermometer by rotation just where you want as opposed to directly over hot coals. I placed mine about 6" away from the vent to coordinate optimal placement without affecting air flow. I have been smoking and grilling for three decades and I can do about anything I need with a standard Weber and this little thermometer.

I had started my grill but was delayed by a vendor selling me something and I sent my son out to find the grill on fire. The gauge stopped working so I searched out a replacement. This one was almost half the price of the one that was meant for my model grill. Descriptions are confusing and I wasn't sure it would work. My grill is a few years old and this gauge fit perfectly. It comes with the with the wing nut to install it but not the bezel so be sure and keep your bezel that the gauge fits into for installation. I'm happy my grill is back to normal.

I cook for two now, so the old 22" grill is overkill, bulky to move around and a bit wasteful. I found a good deal and picked up a Weber Smokey Joe. Trying to learn to cook on this smaller grill, the want and need for temperature regulation is imperative. A little charcoal now has a much smaller area to heat, and I'm not wanting to not serve food that looks like it was offered up as a burnt sacrifice. After reading how-to articles and watching some videos, I drilled a hole in the lid that put the probe close to the height where meat would sit. Now the thermometer accurately shows the cooking temperature at grill level, exactly where it counts the most. This little addition has greatly improved my grilling experience. It lets me more accurately control the vents to keep grilling temps where they need to be for anything I happen to be cooking.

Es un termometro normal, no creo que sea particularmente especial comparado con otros genericos. Pero si ya te lo piensas comprar, o tienes esa necesidad de que el termostato diga "weber" pues dale. Para instalarlo, no me hagan mucho caso pero creo que el agujero que deben hacerle a su tapa es de 3/8" o de 5/16" (Obviamente son unidades imperiales chafas porque es de allá el producto)
