The Blue Balloon (Kipper)

Always loved this book when my children were little. Wanted one for my great-nephew. Could only find used. It’s in pretty good shape. I applied clear packing tape to the few torn areas of the spine and pages. He loves it, too!

I bought this for my 2 yr old grandson whom I might add loves "Kipper", and everything I have read to him written by Mick Inkpen. He loves this story and I have read it to him so many times he can now pretend read it. He loves to open the pages and see what this amazing blue balloon does. The book is holding up well considering how much use its had and thanks to invisible tape. Recommend it highly!

This book has great pull out and fold out pages. It was my daughters favorite book 25 years ago. I bought this copy as baby presents for friends.

Was lucky enough to find a reasonably priced used copy of this fun children's book. Fifteen years ago, I bought it new for my children. Over the years, I have tired to buy it as a gift for other children but, until this purchase, was unsuccessful. Wish a publisher would reissue it.

One of my favorite children's books - lots of imagination and fun lift the flaps, etc.

Every child should have the experience of reading this book with their parents.

I read this every year to my class. They pages fold out like no other book I have ever seen. It is always one of my students favorites. I teach 2 and 3 year olds.

So glad I ordered this book it’s fabulous! My 3 year old loves it. Encourages role play and imagination. The story is great with gorgeous illustrations. Will be buying more Mick Inkpen books!

I bought this as an reference for simple but beautiful, illustration work. Read to my daughters, twenty years ago.
