This was very easy to install and works just as described. It is a thick metal and slides in and out easily. It adds a level of security to the french doors that open off my bedroom into the backyard.

Easy install, have them installed on all main entrances, also on the garage door entrance were there is only a lock on the door handle. Great add on for security. Its only a device that slows down entrance, eventually a determined intruder will make entry. But gives you more time to get to the real home defense weapon or call 911.
