This actually helps my foot feel more comfortable. Helps to straighten my foot and toe look more in align. Prevents the bunion from rubbing on on some of my shoes that I didn't think I could wear again.

There is some nice contouring on the material that goes between the toes that conforms well to the shape of the toes and does help them separate without a lot of bulkiness or forcing, so it is very comforting. They do stay on without any problem and the thinness of the band around the smaller toe is good; however the band around the outer toe is more exposed to friction and pressure, so does wear away quickly. These are comfortable enough to wear around the clock through any activity but cannot withstand that amount of wear for more than a day or so. I am also trying the Cerko Gel Toe Separators that have the metatarsal gel band. Since there's no material on the underside and outside of the big toe and the material is thicker, those are wearing better, while the shaping and reduced thickness on material between the toes on the Toe Buddy is more comfortable. These feel fantastic yet for longer term wear that would provide enduring relief I would need a combination of the better features of both.

I only am giving these three stars because they do work and separate the toes, but I can only wear them 4-5 hours before they start constricting my large toe. I don't have large toes and wear a women size 9 shoe, but after a few hours, they become so uncomfortable I have to take them off. I don't quite understand it because the silicone is very soft and pliable, Also at times I find they fold up and make a bump which increases the pressure. I wear them periodically which is fine because in the summer i mostly wear sandals. Not sure how much I will wear them in the winter with shoes and socks.

I RECENTLY HAD SOME CORRECTIVE SURGERY DONE ON MY RIGHT FOOT DUE TO SEVERE RHEUMATOID ARTHRITIS, PODIARIST LIKES THIS PRODUCT, BUT WAS ANGRY THAT IT COST SO MUCH FOR WHAT IT IS, ANYHOW, HE SAID I WAS THE 1ST PATIENT HE HAS THAT EVER USED THIS AND HE LIKED THE WAY IT WOULD KEEP MY TOE STRAIGHT. I CAN ONLY KEEP IT ON A FEW HOURS DURING THE DAY, BUT IT'S SOFT AND FLEXIBLE SO IT'S NOT UNCOMFORTABLE TO WEAR WALKING AROUND ALL DAY WITH SHOES ON. WHEN I PURCHASED MINE THERE WERE ONLY 3 PAIRS LEFT, SUDDENLY THERE ARE 8 PAIRS LEFT - I PURCHASED THE 3 PAIRS SO THAT SHOULD HOLD ME FOR A WHILE. BUT THEY ARE PRICEY FOR WHAT THEY ARE AND ALL MANUFACTURERS THAT MAKE PRODUCTS FOR YOUR FEET OUT OF THIS SOFT MATERIAL THAT COST ONLY PENNIES FOR THEM SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF THEMSELVES FOR CHARGING THE CONSUMER SO MUCH FOR THESE PRODUCTS.

These have worked well for me in the medium size, and the large size works as well for the friend who is using them. I tried one of his large ones, and it doesn't stay between my toes well. So selecting the right size (height-wise size) is important. Comfortable to wear all day long. Good as a daily support for other toe-straightening devices worn at night.

After several months of use, I'm still loving these spacers. I have had bunions all my life. As I've grown older, my big toe starting laying over on top of the 2nd toe. And the edge of my big toe would get numb from walking on the edge of it. I have gone to podiatrists in the past and they just charge hundreds of dollars (even with insurance) for devices that are uncomfortable and just aggrevate your problems. These spacers were the perfect solution. I can wear them in closed toe shoes or sandals or even barefooted. They stay exactly where I put them and I forget they are even there. Love it, love it!!

Just got these, in a 4-pack for $7.00. They feel like bubble gum and work no better than that, esp. if you have short toes with high pressure between the big toe and the second toe. "Sorry, they disappeared without a trace". They are not "Large"! I see "Mediums" at the drugstores that are larger than this, but those are at an outrageous price.. Maybe these will work for you if you have well-formed small toes. In which case, why would you need them?
