OtterBox Galaxy S10+ Commuter Series Case - Black, Slim & Tough, Pocket-Friendly, with Port Protection

My trusty six year old Samsung Galaxy S10+ has been an impressive workhorse during its field days. It’s been put through all the paces - indoors, outdoors, purses, luggage, backpacks, domestic & international travel, grubby hands, pokey fingers, a few minor drops & splish splashes. Hyper sanitizing with alcohol wipes throughout the height of COVID. It’s now quietly semi-retiring as a backup device but looks as perfect as the day I got it. Not a scratch or crack. Why? Because it lived in an Otterbox Defender. That case absorbed it all admirably and eventually let me know, it’s time to let go. Removing the case felt like losing a friend, I couldn’t just leave it bare. It didn’t need a Defender at this point but I couldn’t commit it to a generic ultra cheap case. I was surprised to see that Otterbox offered a Commuter case for the S10+ at fair price, gave it a shot. I’m happy to say my old Galaxy is rocking fresh digs that does the job *just right*. It’s a slimmer profile than the Defender, less rubbery (little more slippery than I’m used to but not too slick) yet still protects. If this device were still in hard use, I’d definitely go back to the Defender. At this price point, it’s a good deal.

I love my phone case I have no complaints about it, I've seen some reviews in the comment sections, so I decided to address some of the comments below to hopefully help out anyone considering to buy this case in the future? DOES THE COLOR CHANGE (light pink) ? : Yes, it is a light color and unfortunately the rubbery parts will get darker eventually just by you holding it. To prolong the change of color you should avoid putting it in your jeans pocket. CAN YOU CLEAN IT ? To help remove some of the discoloration in the past I've used ajax (lightly) use at your own risk, it helps but does not completely come all the way off. IS IT STURDY? : I haven't dropped my phone yet, but hopefully. From past experience when my phone had really bad drops using otter cases (now that phones are made from glass and has a glass back) that sometimes still can shatter, but the case saves your phone from it shattering all over because it absorbs the fall. If you don't have a glass backing phone then you should be fine. IS IT WORTH IT? : Yes, I feel like I get my money's worth buying a otter case for protection IS IT EASY TO TAKE ON AND OFF? The best way to remove your case is by putting your phone in the case from the bottom and snapping it in on the top, and to remove it take it off starting from the top. FEATURES? I like that it has the flaps to cover the ports to help reduce water going into those parts if it falls in water.

Perfect case for my old phone

It worked well but I got it very very very dirty from forklift tire. I ran over my phone and didn't realize it. It saved my phone from drops and crushed forklift and continued dogs knocking it out if my hands. Love my dogs though. They stepped on it. Saved my phone from disaster. I like the color it was just hard to get the tire oil grease off so I decided to make it pretty again and purchased a second one. Love the color plus I had a pop socket to the back with whatever design...that stays on it as well. Pretty neat for me.

This is a great case and I'm very happy with my purchase. A lot of cases are cheap plastic that discolor or crack and this one does not. It protects the phone from falls, even on tile or concrete. A lot of cases crack on the corner if the phone takes a fall. Another feature I like is that the phone can be charged on a docking station without taking the case off. It's a durable case, not made from acrylic plastic. The part of the case that goes around the screen is a rubberized material and the rest of the case is a hard, very slightly texturized material, so it's not a slippery surfaced case. Definitely will order Otterbox cases for any new phones I get as they fit the bill for their durability. The phone fits snugly with the rubberized material around the screen, so there's absolutely no risk of the phone coming out of the case accidentally. Love this otter box as it allows me to get to all of my ports easily, lightweight, and a pretty color. I can also charge my phone on my stand up charger without taking it out of the otter box - so simple and easy! It's great and a great price. Update 04/09/20 I actually dropped my phone hard enough I guess that a part of the bottom of the otter box completely broke off which allows dust and debris in. I first went to Amazon who directed to the Otter Box website. Once there, went directly to support, warranty, filled out the simple, direct paperwork they ask - date of order, type of phone, and type of Otter Box. You need to give them a card number just for shipping and I was done in less than 3 minutes it seems for $7.30 shipping. There is lifetime warranty on these boxes and they do protect great.

Me super encanto, la mejor compra que he hecho, muy resistente, protege todo alrededor de la pantalla del teléfono muy bien. Se me ha caído varias veces y mi teléfono intacto y la funda sigue en muy buenas condiciones.

Well built with dust flaps to protect charge points

If you really want to protect your phone, buy this case. I dont really care for cute covers but this will literally save your phone even if it falls a million times. I've had this cover since 2019 but recently lost it. I have the s10+ and there isn't a scratch or a screen crack because of this cover. It legit looks like the bought the phone a few hours ago. I highly recommend everyone to buy it. It is heavy at first if you're not used to otterbox cases but once you get used to it, you wouldn't want anything else.

Tolle Qualität und sehr guter Schutz

Me encantó la funda, protege muy bien al celular, es muy robusta, además tiene unas pestañas que ayudan a bloquear la entrada a los puertos para evitar el polvo. Queda un poco gruesa (nada molesto) pero ayuda a dar la sensación de robustez. La recomiendo mucho.
