Excellent non-syrup balsamic
Pairs with the Brian olive oil very well. A flavor that would make you think it is aged longer than it has - deep and rich. This is not to thin, but is not a thick 'syrup' blend either. I am a fan and multipurchase user of this product. It blends well for use in general cooking as well as oil and balsamic blending. The overall flavor is hard to pin down, it has some strong keynotes and subtle undertones. Highly recommended.

An amazing domestic vinegar.
This is by far my favorite domestic Balsamic vinegar. It's smooth, slightly sweet flavor is unmatched in anything in its price point. It's a splurge that won't set you back but will add wonderful depth to salad dressings and marinades. I mix it 1:3 with olive oil, using a half teaspoon Dijon mustard for emulsifier and a small clove of garlic mashed with salt. Over dandelion greens or spinach it is my favorite dressing.

Bariani Balsamic Vinegar - Superb - But Worth it?
I have never purchased vinegar for cooking.... it was my first experience and using a Vegan recipe from my stash of cookbooks I tried this and ooooooh was it ever tasty. Balsamic vinegar is, from what I hear now, some of the best vinegar there is. However, as far as buying the Bariani Brand again, hmmmm I'm not sure I will. The reason is due to my experience with their Olive oil and the lack of response from the Manufacture. Bariani EVOO - Generally I buy olive oil in large 2 liter containers because we use in for cooking, baking and just about anything that asks for lard or butter. We feel using olive oil is a far healthier and tastier souce of oil to use than the latter. However, when I started researching more and hearing stories of outdated olive oil and needing to have it in a dark container I became worried about where I get my olive Oil... Generally at Sams Club or Costco.... So I opted to spend a few extra bucks more to get it in a dark bottle and hopefully current year stock. I purchased this lovely Bariani EVOO and it looked and smelled great, but honestly it didn't taste any different than the EVOO that I get elsewhere and the date on the bottle was confusing.... harvested in 2010 and bottled in 2011? Since I just purchased it September 2011 I was trying to figure out why. So, I contacted the company that produces this oil hoping to get some clarification on the details (since olive oil does not improve with age) and never heard back from them. So now I won't bother spending the extra money on that product. I did buy their Bariani Balsamic Vinegar 16.9 oz. and that is superb, but again sine I never heard from the company, why should I buy from them again? Disappointed!

Good stuff
This is a great accompaniment to the Bariani real Olive Oil to make a quick, easy dressing. Just whisk together 2 t. Dijon mustard with 1 T. Bariani Balsamic Vinegar till combined. Then whisk in 3 T. real Bariani Olive Oil till emulsified. Delicious!!!

It's good, but I'm a bit disappointed.
I have admittedly become quite the snob about balsamic vinegar in the past year and I am trying quite a few of them. I don't claim to be an expert or anything though as the only source of my knowledge is having tried about 50 different brands over the past year. There are two kinds of balsamic vinegar, the normal liquidy tart kind and the thick syrupy sweet kind. I have fallen in love with the latter (and usually pricier kind), this is the former. Based on the reviews I thought it was going to be the thick kind and was disappointed, I also chose this one because it said it was a two pack, when in fact it was only one, leading to a bigger disappointment. Now don't get me wrong this product is good, so I gave it three stars but it's not the amazing drink by the spoon kind I have been privy to recently.

BEST!!
Bariani Balsamic is the best vinegar ever!! I mix with olive oil and herbs and do a light drizzle on salads. It also came in bomb proof shipping case. I'm very happy.

balsamic vinegar
I have tried many balsamic vinegars and for me, this is the best. Of course there are those top of the range vinegars that cost an arm and a leg - but at this price the Bariani brand takes some beating.

Sweet, flavorful
Sweet, flavorful, and lead free, this balsamic vinegar is much better than the typical Italian brands at the supermarket, which are made with grape must.
