10/10. Bought one for myself to test, loved it, then got my mom one a couple days later. I bought this because I love swimming but hate the time it takes to dry my hair afterward. Didn’t trust the other brands and was so happy to find one that catered to Black/POC women and our hair. It’s stylish for a swim cap. I used this cap every day for about 3 weeks (chlorinated pool, ocean, and saltwater pool), each time fully submerging my head and swimming regularly. I have butt-length medium box braids which all fit comfortably inside the cap with room to spare. I wrapped the braids around my head then put the cap on - I also wore with my hair in a bun a couple times under the cap but it wasn’t my favorite. I appreciated the tight band (it wasn’t painful) because it kept the cap secure. I recommend measuring the circumference of your head and going by that, you definitely want the band to be 1-2 inches smaller. It’s very durable and I didn’t experience any tearing or other malfunction. It does get warm in the cap, sometimes sweat from inside the cap feels like water seeping in but it isn’t. Tips: pull cap down completely over your ears and about 1-2 inches below hairline for a watertight seal. Make sure your skin is clean and dry without make-up, sweat, hair product runoff, etc. otherwise the band will slip. I found that sweat from inside the cap did NOT cause slippage IF you put the cap on before that starts I also use this in the shower and for deep conditioning. It’s easy to wash and dries quickly. 9.5.25 update: I’ve been using this cap about once a month since I bought it. It’s been to hot springs, saltwater pools, chlorinated pools, the ocean, the bay, um basically all types of water. I’ve had plenty of hairstyles too. Still doing laps, diving, floating, playing around. Still no issues! My mom’s has not been used as much - maybe once every 6 months or so - and hers is fine too. We still recommend! For the deep conditioning I forgot to say you can use a regular plastic bag first then put the cap on over it. I usually do it that way bc it gets slippery but not every time. I’ve used my hooded dryer a few times with no issues… it just gets too hot for me. The cap alone is enough.

I got me and my husband these swim caps and it makes swimming SO much easier to do for fitness because I can actually go for a 30 min swim and not then spend 2 hours showering and restyling and drying my hair. Really pleased with it. I've been able to swim 3 times this week without the rigamarole of my curly hair styling routine. And since my husband now has longer hair than me and still wont use a hair dryer it makes it so much easier to get him out to the pool too so we both get our exercise. I got large, he got extra large, I'm on the fence if I should've gone with medium, but my hair is on the shorter side for me right now so large will probably be perfect for as my hair grows out. I will mention it doesn't keep us bone dry, we both get dampness at the nape, but we wear our hair up in a high bun on top of our heads so the bulk of our hair stays nice and dry ( I notice the water mainly gets in when I swim butterfly though which is my most vigorous stoke, if I only swim breast or freestyle I can keep my hair entirely dry) I'm experimenting with google strap placement to get a perfect seal for my more vigorous swim strokes, today I did one loop of the googles down around the base of the cap and one up high above my bun and that did REALLY well just mildly damp at the nape after 5 laps butterfly. I bet this works perfect for you if you mainly wanna hang out in the pool with like splashing kids and paddle around a bit. my husband and I are ex swim team lap swimmers so flip turns vigorous swimming etc. and it's been great for keeping the bulk of our hair dry.

I wish there was a silk clothe on the inside, it would make the hair easier to manage. Besides that its very spacious and does keep the water out so, good product!

To my black and brown girlies , this is a must buy . I brought a medium for my natural hair and a large for my protective styles . This cap actually keeps your hair from getting wet ! I used the medium cap and its has just the right amount space for my thick hair ! I went under water at least 10 times and my hair was completely dried ! It’s so easy to put on , just make sure you put it over your ears for extra protection.

Before I purchased the Soul Cap I read many testimonies about it. When I received my cap I started using it for my swim and AquaFit classes and I was truly amazed. I have thick medium length hair and the medium cap fits great. My hair got wet a little around the perimeter of my hair but the rest of my hair stayed dry. This is an amazing swim cap and I have been telling all my friends and classmates about it. I plan to order about 5 more caps, one more for me and 4 others for my closest friends. I'm glad someone created a swim cap to keep "water lovers" hair dry while enjoying the water. Thank you for this product.

This cap protected the top of my head while completely submerged in water but not the nape area. I have locs that are shoulder length and a decent amount of thickness so a large fit well and was comfortable. Unfortunately the ends of my hair got wet and caused my hair to bleed every when the cap was removed( I have red hair). Would not recommend if you’re looking for full coverage.

Excellent quality and truly long-hair friendly! Finding a swimming cap that actually fits can be tough, but this one is perfect. The texture and overall quality are absolutely extra great. I have very long hair, and it all fits under the cap easily and comfortably without feeling too tight. The sizing is spot on. Five stars!

I really hate to write a bad review especially because it was designed a creative for my type for type of hair and I have short kind of like the awkward stage right now but it was in little twist you know so it was shorter and I've had it for about a week and a half maybe 2 weeks or so now and last week I went to pull it over my ear and a small piece tore off and what you can see on the 1st photo and then today I went to see if I could still wear it and I put my hands in to stretch it out and it just this big old chunk of material just came out just the way that you see it in the second photo I did report it to Amazon and so forth and they were kind to assist me with it and I was going to order another one as you know we suggested that I don't think I want to invest the money in it again because it seems like it's poorly made it but not stay over my ears and this is large for my head cuz I don't have a lot of hair and I don't wear my hair loose but I was always having trouble with it keeping my ears covered and it just kept going up or whatever I don't know and every time I pulled it down it was sweet back up and like I said when I pulled it down over my ears before a small piece came off and then today this whole big large chunk came out when I put my hands in to expand it to put it over my head it just pop like a balloon instantly so this is a very poor product I only gave it to one because he had to give it something but I don't recommend this product I wanted to very much like but it didn't work out unfortunately.. still on the hunt for a good swim cap and I must also say that I'm older and I have nerve damage in my hands and my arm so I'm not very strong and my hands and stuff are pretty weak there not strong and so for this to just come apart that way you would think I had the strength of Ten Men LOL okay thank you for listening

I'm happy to found this large swim cap, ordered a large for long hair, it fitted well with excess room at the back though. With this big design felt comfortably covering ears & forehead without feeling too snap tight.

Die Badekappe lässt sich einfach aufziehen und beherbergt gut und sicher lange dicke Haare. Bis auf die Ränder hält sie auch dicht und drückt nicht. Sie hat ein angenehmes Tragegefühl (soweit man das bei Badekappen überhaupt sagen kann).

Extremely useful, keep my hair and braids dry mostly. Part of the hair on the back of the head around the neck get damp sometimes but overall better than any other cap I have used before. I strongly recommend
