Moto Chain-Mate - The Ultimate Motorcycle Chain Cleaning and Lubrication Kit !

Finally got around to using this thing last night and it was pretty awesome! No more having to find pieces of cardboard to cut out so I can prevent overspray. Just aim into Chain-Mate and spray your cleaner and lube. It all funnels into the bottle at the end, so everything is nice and clean. It's lightweight and collapsible, so it's easy to store. I already had a chain brush, but it was really nice that it came with one plus a long piece of tarp to place underneath the bike when cleaning.

I recently purchased this after years of cleaning then lubing my chain the old fashioned way. Because of the cleanup and mess, I only cleaned my chain when absolutely necessary per the owner's manual. I finally broke down and I'm impressed with how much easier and neater cleaning my chain is now. I just used it for the first time this morning. I watched the YouTube video, which was helpful last night. I found that unlike the video, not all of the cleaning solution drips perfectly into the catch basin (and into the bottle), but the amount that missed was negligible and the mat they include contained the little that missed. I love the control the device gives you when applying the chain cleaner and lube. The first time in years I didn't have to clean my rear tire of cleaner/lube. The included brush does a pretty good job. I found my Grunge Brush did a better job of cleaning, but still, their bush isn't bad. Overall, I would rate this a high 4.5 stars. The ease of setup, control, housekeeping and ease of cleaning/lubing that the device affords is well worth the purchase price. I wish I had bought it sooner.

It definitely helps to keep the mess down but it's not perfect. It's kinda cheaply made but for the price it wasn't bad.

Bought this to clean the chain on my fz6. Installation process is simple enough. The chain was beyond dirty when i started, but looks close to brand new now. I like that the cleaning fluids and gunk goes into a bottle for easier storage/ disposle. Keeps the garage floor clean from drippings. Being able to adjust the rail makes this durable for a wide arrange of bikes.

Its okay, though it does get messy a bit and not all of the cleaning fluid goes into the bottle. Some of it still drips from other parts of the chain that isn't hovering over the device. But if I don't rotate the wheel and spray in one section at a time it does clean and drips onto the bottle. But it does help to have the chain covered into a tunnel to focus the spraying in. Keep in mind the cleaning fluid and chain lube are a separate purchase.

I'm used to bikes with shaft drive, so this chain maintenance stuff is new to me. I have no idea how anybody would deal with this in their garage without having a gizmo like this Chain-Mate. Absolutely makes cleaning / lubing a clean job; protects my garage floor and keeps lube from slinging around. Also, small and easy to store.

Concept is good and was kinda helpful for the task of maintaining the chain and not making a mess. The quality is a bit cheap and it did keep moving ( no way to tighten it once it is in the right height position
