Il top dei brush pen
Marchio blasonato, i Dual Brush Pens sono uno strumento molto versatile. La doppia punta permette infatti di scrivere con un tratto sottile e preciso oppure modulando il tratto, se si usa la punta a pennello. Si tratta di una punta morbida, piuttosto flessibile e larga. Personalmente, lo trovo poco adatto per cominciare a praticare il brush lettering, almeno per caratteri non molto grandi. La punta larga e flessibile, infatti, richiede un buon controllo dei movimenti per tracciare le linee sottili e, almeno nella mia esperienza, i tratti curvi, ma con un po' di attenzione è davvero comodo. E sicuramente, una volta impratichiti con questa tecnica di scrittura (o di disegno), sarà uno strumento eccellente. Dato il costo solitamente elevato di questi pennarelli, conviene utilizzarli su carta adatta, molto liscia, evitando invece la comune carta da fotocopie o stampa inkjet, per evitare di sfilacciare o danneggiare la punta.
