SKLZ Speed Chute Resistance Parachute for Speed and Acceleration Training Grey/Black, 54-Inch

My 2 football sons just love the parachute. Getting them to train for sports isn't easy at their age, but the parachute they just love. My younger son was moved to fullback from the o-line on his 7th-grade team this past season. For years, he was too heavy in youth football to run the ball, so he has waited a long time to get to do so. He wants to make sure he keeps the fullback job from here on out. He was fast for a lineman but we knew he would have to get in running back shape to be stay as a fullback so not to be tired late in games when running the ball so much. The SKLZ parachute we believe provided the resistance needed to help build that explosive speed we saw from him in Week 5 compared to Week 1. It was impressive to watch him break for long runs off tackle over and over as the season went on. ... He also is a baseball player as is his older brother, who also is a lineman. They both are outfielders are using the parachute to get faster in the outfield and stealing bases or legging out doubles and triples. Great product, great price.

Bought for my canine at work. Helped him keep up on his cardio and made him hit so much harder. Good product. Would buy again.

I normally rate things 5 stars, but I'd have to go 4 on this one. Here's the breakdown. The belt: The belt to me is actually the better part of this product in my opinion because of the idea behind it and the durability. The front part belt is a huge clip, and the back is another clip followed by a long strand of belt. It's pretty clear in the picture. Parachute: It is made of a great design idea and smart material. However, in person, it felt a tad bit awkward to have it drag behind you and having to pick it up by running. I understand that its the point of the product, and I enjoyed trying it out. But for me, even running against the wind, the parachute seemed heavy enough to not remain horizontally in the air, and I was running on an outdoor track- because it was on the floor where the wind held it down from the start. Lastly, the bag is simple but dope, and useful! I accidentally tore mine since, but I am looking to buy another one.

The first time we put this on our grandchild, it tore. Useless! Terribly disappointed, paid good money for junk! Yuck! Thanks to Skilz, they have contacted me and have made good on their product! They were very helpful and we talked about what would make this product a little better. We have lots of Skilz products that we have been using for years. Thanks! For their customer service I would give that 5*****.

Bought this to help my teenager out with his speed drills and such, turns out you have to get them to run for it to work. The current go to is hook it up while he's on his phone, then grab his phone and sprint off, it holds him back effectively and will likely strengthen his legs and core.

We bought this for our 15 year old son, who is physically fit, used for him to stay in shape in between practices, games etc. I'm not sure if his fitness level is the reason he feels like it doesn't help him or maybe the chute is too small. The pictures show what looks like adults as well as a teen using it. My son is only 5'6/5'7 and 120 pounds of muscle works out 3-4 out of 7 days plus game days on weekends (he plays soccer and runs track) So depending on your fitness level this chute might not work for you.

My boys used this quite a few times so far and it really tested their endurance. It's made of light but thick and durable material. It was delivered fast and I've had no problems with it. It was easy to set up and use and definitely gave them the resistance they needed. It is a pretty fun product to watch them use, it caused a lot of attention and questions and it has lasting durability. Anyone looking to challenge their endurance and stamina I recommend this chute 100%. The price was very reasonable and like I said the quality was great. Great buy, well worth it!

Der Schirm ist super verarbeitet und Ich werde ihn einmal bei starkem wind testen um den widerstand zu erhöhen. Der preis ist schon so eine sache aber ich denke wer ihn ausprobiert hat wird ihn nicht mehr missen wollen.

Great training aid.. well conceived product.. NOTE to self; Just don't stand too close to the runner as they come running down by you while you are holding the stop watch.. Parachute cupped me right in the head and took me right off my feet.. An FHV moment.. ;)
