75mm x 30mm 5V USB Blower Fan with 3 Speed Controller DC Brushless

I picked up this GDSTIME 75mm x 30mm USB Blower Fan to test as an alternative air-mover inside a custom Vento air scrubber box for my 3D printer. While my previous 12V fans required running dedicated power lines or setting up step-down buck converters from the printer's power supply rail, this 5V USB-powered unit offers a completely plug-and-play setup. It functions beautifully and simplifies enclosure ventilation immensely. Why this USB blower fan is an excellent choice for air scrubbers: Convenient Inline 3-Speed Controller: The absolute best feature of this GDSTIME model is the integrated physical speed switch. It allows you to toggle between Low, Medium, and High settings instantly. If you are printing standard PLA and just want mild air circulation, the Low setting is virtually silent. If you step up to smelly ABS or ASA filaments, clicking it to High forces maximum air volume through your filter media. Effortless 5V USB Power Delivery: Because it runs on a standard 5V loop, you don't have to splice wires or open up your 3D printer's motherboard compartment. You can plug the USB cable straight into a standard external phone charger brick, a power strip, or an open USB port on a nearby control computer, keeping your main printer electronics completely clean and stock. Solid Centrifugal Pressure Generation: The 7530 blower geometry is highly effective at compressing air. Even when restricted down to 5V power, the turbine blades generate enough static pressure to pull air efficiently through a packed chamber of activated carbon pellets and a pleated HEPA filter without stalling out or overheating. Workspace Assembly & Installation Tips: Acoustic Balancing: On the High setting, you will hear a noticeable rushing air sound due to the high RPM velocity. If your printer sits right next to your desk, setting the switch to Medium provides the perfect sweet spot—giving you plenty of active carbon filtration while keeping the background noise completely unobtrusive. Support Bracket Orientation: Ensure your custom 3D-printed Vento or Bento housing is scaled for a 7530 footprint. Double-check that the fan's square exhaust outlet seats tightly against your internal filter cartridge guide walls so that no unfiltered air escapes backward into your printer chamber. My final recommendation: This GDSTIME blower is a phenomenal option for any maker who wants to add a chemical filtration scrubber to their enclosed printer without dealing with complex electrical wiring. The physical speed controller provides awesome adjustments, the USB power footprint is incredibly convenient, and the fan handles air resistance smoothly. It is a top-tier, hassle-free upgrade for workshop air safety.

This was the best idea I've had in a while! My computer desk is in a corner, and the tower against the wall, so whenever I would game it slowly builds a pocket of heat in that corner. I took out the exhaust fan and screwed this in its place, but on the outside, facing towards where my feet are under the desk. The heat is gone, and there's even a nice breeze if I put my feet up a bit. Massive difference! I don't even use the power adapter thing it came with, maybe I'll find a use for that later. Extremely happy with this setup!

I picked up this fan to cool down some vintage 80's hifi equipment. The fan is a great size and excellent build quality. It moves a lot of air and discharges it though the back; however, the fan is a tad noisy. This is most likely due to the amount of air that it moves (which is a good thing). I don't notice the noise too much when playing my equipment, but it's noticeable with low volumes. It doesn't matter to me since it does an excellent job of cooling the stuff down. Comes with decent mounting hardware as well and powers well off a 1A AC to USB wall plug.

My ps5 pro is enclosed in a cabinet and this easily cools the cabinet blowing out the rear ported ps5 hot exhaust. It’s super quiet too.

I'm using this in an unorthodox fashion, as a circulation fan in my hermit crab tank. I use it during day light hours and turn it off at night. It's been about a month and it's still going strong. And I've noticed a huge increase in activity of my hermit crabs since I've started using it. I like to think it's like a "beach breeze" for them and you couldn't beat the price. A command strip and you're ready to go. I'd recommend.

It had good air flow but even on the lowest setting, it was too loud. If it was a bit quieter it would be a good fan. It did have selectable power settings which was nice. Had to return it because of how loud it was.

These were the perfect size for my helmet. They don’t really add much cooling, but they do keep my lenses from fogging up on the inside. I haven’t tried them on high power because they do get loud when right against your head.

Great. I use it to cool my fpv drones on the bench
