Judge Dredd the Cursed Earth: An Expedition Game

Pain to find sleeves that fit.

I like the game, but it would have been even better if you were able to play as Tweak or Spikes Harvey Rotten as well as Judges Dredd, Giant and Anderson. It's also nigh-on impossible so I am always forced to *tweak* the rules, such as starting with extra munitions and allowing more than 5 health. Otherwise I can't see how anyone can win. The rules could also be clearer - the little booklet is poorly laid out and the rules are a bit of a jumble.

Good single player game but brutal. Boring as multi player.

This game is impossible. I cannot for the life of me, beat it. But ... maybe you will!

My review is based on solo play. Nice cards, original artwork (though I'm not a big Dayglow fan) and handy size. Flexible on opponent numbers, game type. The solo seems very hard and (for me) impossible unless I get lucky card draws.

I play this solo.It's a tough game to beat but what do you expect? It's Dredd!All the components in the box are nicely made.Would recommend!

Every Dredd fan should own this, it is one of the most accessible and beautiful Dredd game out there. The art is superb (the cards are quite large), the game mechanics are simple yet the game is challenging and you cannot win without thinking ahead and making the right decisions.The game system is based on The Lost Expedition, a tested and balanced system that attracted a lot of praise.The game can be played solo, 2 to 4 or 1 vs 1, making it versatile for play when you have some spare time or with friends/family.The games take from 15 to 30 minutes (the more players, the longer), and lends itself perfectly to playing multiple sessions in a row.It is a challenging game, you will not win the first time, you might think it is more luck than skills that get you through to the end, but after playing a few times you will start thinking "if I had done this I could have then done that...". There is an element of luck of course but there is in any game. The "psi" skill is very powerful in giving more choices to the player, this game is not simply the luck of the draw.The story-line, art and general feel of the game is very much in the spirit of Dredd.Buy it, you won't regret it.PS: I bought mine directly from Osprey for the promo cards.
