Shrimp a finicky little rascals aren’t they? This stuff will help you get your water parameters to match what your shrimp like. Buy this before you buy the shrimp or if you have an issue keeping them healthy. Takes a lot of the guess work out of it. Just make sure you start with clean water.

I have had Cardinia Shrimp. I use this with the RO water. They really thrive with it.

Great packaging. It has an inner lid to keep the powder dry. IT also comes with a small measuring spoon. This is essential and needed to raise Cardina shrimps. Very good product. Highly recommend. ANd lasts a long time, as you dont need to change water that often, maybe once a month........... as long as you dont overfeed.

This is the only gH+ additive I've used that actually works! I previously only used Brightwells gH+ to remineralize my RODI water as well as Continuum and neither of them really did anything to my gH, if I added enough they would raise my TDS to the correct amount but my gH would always read as Zero. Ever since I got this product it's actually put my gH where it needs to go and my shrimp seem happier. I'd recommend their products if you're needing to raise gH to gH/kH. MAKE SURE TO USE GLOVES, it irritates the skin of you get it on you.

Living in Bearsden, Glasgow, UK the tap water is acidic (pH 6.4) and VERY soft, with negligible KH & GH. Thus, depending upon a tank's stocking, water has to be remineralised. Initially I used Seachem Equilibrium, but it later transpired that this is geared towards planted aquariums, and not those tanks which also house shrimp. It's at this point that I discovered Saltyshrimp. Since I'm stocking Caridina shrimp the GH+ version is the perfect remineraliser and my shrimp have benefited enormously since I made the switch.

Macht genau was es soll. Härtet das Osmosewasser auf die angegebene Härte auf. Nutze es in meinem Caridina Iwagumi (144l 120x40x30) ohne Komplikationen. Ich komme auch sehr lange mit einer Dose aus, da ich Wasserwechsel nur sehr sehr selten durchführen muss.

Top aufhärtesalz löst sich super auf

... das Wasser aufhärten! Ich habe bisher zum aufsalzen meines Osmosewassers die flüssige Variante von GT verwendet. Es lässt sich gut dosieren, hatte aber immer irgendwie das Gefühl, ich komme nicht auf meine Werte und meinen Garnelen fehlt was. Also probiere ich jetzt mal das Saltyshrimp hier aus. Und was soll ich sagen, es funktioniert eigentlich recht gut bis jetzt. Ich komme gut auf meine Werte und meine Bienen wirken auch irgendwie lebendiger und agiler. Was die Pflanzen dazu sagen, wird sich zeigen. Ein kleines „Aber“ gibt es dennoch! Beim ansetzen/aufbereiten des Wassers bin ich von der Auflösung des Salzes nicht wirklich begeistert. Im Messbecher angerührtes Salz sind auch noch nach Stunden grobe Partikel (Kristalle) zu sehen. Es scheint sich aber nach einiger Zeit (24h ?) im Kanister dann zu lösen. Da muss man schon aufpassen, dass man nicht überdosiert, weil sich nicht sofort der erhoffte Wert einstellt. Auf 21 Liter Osmosewasser nehme ich 1,5 Messlöffel Saltyshrimp und komme damit auf ca. 250-280 Mikrosiemens. Dabei ist das Salz doch recht ergiebig und man kommt schon eine Weile hin mit den 230g.
