The mouth outside diameter is 2"3/4. The nozzle is tapered: min OD 1/4", max OD 3/8".

To the seller: are these funnels made from food grade plastic? are they pet, hdpe, other? please specify.

Can I use these to refill water bottles or hand soap pump dispensers?

I can confirm that these work great for refilling water bottles. That is the main use case I bought them for. The largest funnel works great, and also works great for pouring mixing powder into water bottles(i.e. Gatorade powder, lemonade, etc). I can't say that I have used them for soap, but imagine that they would work with ease given that the soap is not immensely thick. Again, the largest funnel should suffice just fine for that use.

How come the ad on item is written as a set of 3,then when i go to choose how many,it says it's only a set of one?

It's like 3 per set so you order one set and get three funnels each a different size
