Absolutely delicious
I was looking for a ramen noodle to make my own ramen creations as I've recently become absolutely hooked on eating this dish. I add all kinds of fresh veggies, make my own broth, it is simple and healthy. I was looking for a good quality noodle to use and took a chance on Hakubaku because it looked pretty authentic. It is amazing and I love it in every dish I've made. Absolutely blew me away, this is everything you are looking for in a ramen noodle, hearty, tasty and filling, and it sits perfectly in your belly when you're done! 5*

Delicious, quick, and versatile.
I don’t know why “warmth” is listed as a characteristic of this product, but anyway! I eat these noodles all the time. They’re really delicious. They only take 4 minutes to cook after the water boils, so they’re nice and fast. My grocery store has run out of them so I’m glad I found the option to buy a retail display of them here. Lmao. I’m so happy about this. I received mine on time and the packaging was fine. No issues here.

I had to ignore the suggested cooking directions...
I was introduced to ramen 🍜 through my significant other who took me to an amazing ramen restaurant in NYC. Since then, I’ve been determined to make authentic ramen at home. I love that these noodles are organic and thicker than the Top Ramen/Maruchan ramen noodles, however when I made it the first time (according to the package directions), I did not have a very pleasant experience. I enjoy a flavorful noodle and it was just too bland and TOO TOUGH. The second time around I decided to boil the noodles in salted water with a little bit of sesame oil. This time, for two extra minutes. That’s all it took! Amazing texture and taste 🥰 So, 4-stars because the directions on the package don’t make for a tasty noodle.

It's not a bad price - it comes to about $3 per package
We are ramen people at my house, and for a couple of years, I've had trouble digesting ramen made with non-organic wheat. Sometimes I just gritted my teeth through the discomfort, dehydration and lethargy that it caused, because ramen is delicious :P I'm thrilled since finding this ramen! It's not a bad price - it comes to about $3 per package, or $1 per bundle, which is what you'd probably pay for the normal stuff in any Asian market. And maybe this was in my head, but I felt it tasted a lot better. Sometimes we made it with tons of vegetables and meat and eggs, but it was also good plain with a bit of soy sauce.

Great noodles
Tasty noodle. Good portion size. Nice firm texture. Wish I'd tried sooner, new go-to ramen.

Strange smell, tough crunchy
The odor was strong even before cooking. They do not cook up as nice as the Japanese ramen. I cooked two of the bunches and threw the last one out. Just could not tolerate the smell. I wouldn't have purchased but the Japanese noodles only came in six boxes not a single as usual. So I had to go to Walmart and get a single. I live alone and I do not need to order so much. Again the Japanese ramen clean no added spices is absolutely the best on Amazon and local stores.

I won't go back to the solid ramen bricks after this!
I bought these on a whim, and I absolutely love them! Both the ramen and the udon are fantastic. They cook quickly--I've tried both straight water, as well as salted and oiled water, and both produce terrific results. The ease of cooking without oil and salt has been my go-to as of late. I get plenty of salt from the broth and add-ons that I don't miss in the noodles.
