I’ve had this same bad of rock salt for years. It’s great for cleaning the sticky residue on the side of a vase. You just throw some isopropyl alcohol in the vase, throw some rock salt, and shake it till you make it

Great for making ice cream
I bought this bag of rock salt for a classroom experiment on making ice cream. It worked perfectly and kept me from making a trip to multiple stores looking for it. We made two batches of ice cream in ziploc bags and still have plenty of salt left.

It's hard to get this locally but I was needing just a bit, ordering was fine. Arrived good and works perfectly. Keeps water from freezing in winter for a variety of projects.
