Axial Wraith Aluminum Differential Protector (Wraps Around Pinion)

Great Product. Exactly what I was looking for !!! Fit was great and easy to install. Ordered two for my wraith spawn and a friend immediately had me order two more for his. Shipping does take a while but is fully worth the wait. The guards are already doing there job and are protecting the diffs. Happy Customer !!!

I'd definitely buy the version without the pinion protector if I purchase these again. You have to sort of "stretch" the diff protector out in order to install it in place, and once it's installed it's difficult to re-shape it properly. As a result, the pinion protector end of the part often sort of "pops off" the pinion side of the diff and will start rubbing on the driveshaft, making an awful screeching noise. I was eventually able to make it stay in place after several attempts at tweaking the thing with needle nose pliers, but it looks a bit mangled now. At the end of the day though, this part is meant to get bashed in the worst ways possible, so it isn't the end of the world. The protection that this guard provides is clearly evident after just a few hours of crawling on my backyard rock pile, the thing looks absolutely abused. I'm really glad I installed these on my wraith when it was still really new, all the dings and scrapes in this aluminum guard would have been much worse on the bare plastic diff of the Wraith.

The product looks cool but the fitment is horrible. It does not sit flush against the diff cover and the screws cannot be screwed in all the way which allows a gap between the diff cover and axle allowing dirt and/or water to get into the gears. This would be a very effective product with a little tweaking of the design.

Really don't know why there's a 1 star rating on this item, i bought 2 of them, 1 for front and 1 for rear, installation was a breeze and they fit perfectly screws fit snug up against the diff cover up against the axle housing, they look awesome on the rig!!!! Greatest and most useful edition to my wraith yet!!!! I definitely recommend this mod as the stock plastic diff covers get banged up and hung up on turrain pretty easily. A must buy!!!

I'm not sure why the other customer gave this a 1 star rating, but this diff protector fit perfect on my Wraith. It snapped snugly into place, the two slits between the screw holes captured the ribbing on the diff cover and the wrap around pinion fit snug as well. It wrapped very close to the underneath of the differential, so ground clearance would not be affected..

i purchased these for my dad... i ordered two for the front and back... my dad said that is was not too hard to install on his wraith... some of the stock screws will break so have new screws ready..

Gets in the way of steering linking. Had to remove it. But it is a great idea cause I even have aftermarket diff. Covers and they get bashed up pretty good. To bad it didn't work..
