Taramps DS 440X4 2 Ohms 440W RMS Full Range 4-Channel Amplifier

item itself has a very small footprint, at first i was like what did i just buy. I was small enough i was able to fit it under my radio in the dash. After install i was satisfied with sound. i ran into some clipping issues but i can not blame that on the amp at least not as of yet. i used this running as a 4 channel to mids and tweets, After adjusting sound settings everything seemed to come together nicely and I am so far happy with item. I will update if anything changes. but I would not be hesitant to purchase especially if you have a need for a small amp with good power.

I’ll be honest — I didn’t expect this much out of such a compact amp. Hooked it up to a set of JBL 6x9s and they got LOUD. Crystal clear, clean power, and it stays cool while doing it. No fake numbers here — this thing delivers exactly what it says and then some.The footprint is tiny, the install was simple, and it pushes real power without killing my electrical. For the size, price, and performance, I couldn’t be more impressed. If you’re on the fence, don’t be — this little thing is a monster.

I'm running this amp to my highs and honestly right off the bat, I was shocked at how small the amp is. It had me a little scared of how the power would be out of it but this thing is great! The small size of it makes it nice to be able to tuck away and not be taking away space from anywhere to have it. The sound quality is nice and clear, and I'm only running it at around 60-70 watts. Only thing I would say is don't go to big on the wiring kit. Maybe keep it to around a 10 gauge kit because the connections are somewhat small.

It absolutely fits under the driver's seat of a '93 Jeep Wrangler. Power was just what I needed, just little oomph when the top is off. I was a little mystified by the speaker wiring (POS of one channel and neg of another channel go to same spot on amp) but I'm sure that's a Me thing.

For such a tiny amp, this thing puts out a performance like a champ with 4 speakers and 2 tweeters attached.

I bought this amp to power a MB Quart component set. I spent a lot of time building an Amp rack for my new system, and making sure everything was perfect. I hooked this up and immediately noticed that there was no sound coming from the right channel. I tried to switch speaker connections and fiddled with the gain. As soon as I touched the gain a loud siren type noise started coming from my speakers. I'm not even sure if my right side component set works anymore. The left has horrible static. I unhooked the wire from the crossover, and connected it directly to a coaxial speaker. The coaxial speaker exhibited the same static noise. A little scared to use their products now. I bought a smart 3 bass amp, and have not hooked it up yet. I am still working on the box for the subs.1/11/22- Update: Bought a US Acoustics amp off their site, and hooked it up today. Thank god, none of my speakers were blown, and I got clear and powerful signal. Absolutely no noise, hiss, pops, thumps, or any other noises that I experienced with this amp.

Tiny little thing that delivers a punch! Sounds good for 99% of setups, unless you're a audiophile with an ultra quiet car, you'll never hear the subtleties in the difference of a car amp A/B Vs D class. So take the advantage of it being so small, lightweight and powerful!

Habia instalado unas bocinas JBL de 60W RMS en las 4 puertas, y el estero lo ponia a volumen 15 a 20 para escuchar bien, pero se llegaba a distorsionar.Despues de instalar el amplificador, pongo el volumen en 4 y el sunido es mas fuerte y con mas fidelidad que antes. Ademas el amplificador es bastante pequeño, lo que hace que su instalacion sea facil y practica.100% recomendado.
