PetSafe ScoopFree Premium Crystal Cat Litter, Premium Blue, 2-Pack

Prior to this, we used PetSafe’s regular blue and white crystal litter (for use in Madam’s automatic litter tray). We found that (aside from being eye-wateringly expensive!) it tended to scatter everywhere when she jumped out of the tray, with the crystals sharp and uncomfortable underfoot. This litter is cheaper and works every bit as well, with a neutral scent (but doesn’t cause odours after our cat has urinated). It’s scraped into the box by the automatic rake just as effectively as the original; and is as easy to dispose of as well. In terms of weight/pack size there’s no discernible difference between either product; plus I would say it’s even more effective in terms of urine absorbency and overall longevity. Rather than the disposable cardboard trays, we use the stainless steel model. Most importantly, the cat is extremely comfortable with it…and if she’s happy, we’re happy!

Good quality cat litter. Pricey but economical in long run, 1 bag lasts 3 weeks for my cat. Very good at eliminating odours and easy to scoop faeces from. The best cat litter.

I don't love this but for the Scoop Free system, it does what it says. I do find that in a home with 4 cats and 3 litter trays, one cat loves it, another puts up with it buy prefers and won't discontinue using a normal tray, another is terrified of it regardless but will occasionally have a quick "hit and run" wee, and thr final cat has never gotten in it. The crystals are supposed to last a month for a single cat. Granted, we have 3 who use it to varying degrees - one daily, one only if it is convenient for him but not often, and one who rarely goes near it. It most certainly needs to be changed weekly for us. It does do a bang up job eliminating odours. But I think of our 4 cats, only one isn't bothered by the texture or crunchinness of it. She's not fancy. The others seem to dislike the feel on the toe beans so they try to get it over with if the other two boxes are engaged or they need a poop scooping. I think these seem over priced even if it is good on smell reduction. Loads of less expensive litters are good for odours. But we are stuck with this machine (spoiler: I hate it and don't recommend) so zip guess we are in for a pricey long haul for one consisten user.

Very good litter.Its a bit expensive but worth the money.Bags are small and my tray is big and needs 2 bags ,and works out expensive for the week but it is very good litter and eradicates the smell.

I usually buy 3 complete box sets every 3 months, but needed extra, as my cat had been ill and had had an operation. I like this litter set, because my cat and I live in a sheltered flat, he cannot go out any more and this set prevents smells and only needs changing once a month. The only drawback is the price, which has recently gone up dramatically; wish my pension had, too!

One pack easily lasts around two weeks for my cat, sometimes longer, with excellent absorption and odour control. I give the crystals a quick stir every other day and they stay fresh with no noticeable smell. They’re dust-free, don’t clump or get scattered everywhere, and when it’s time to change them I can simply empty the tray without lots of residue left behind. The amount is perfect for the PetSafe ScoopFree tray. I’ve tried cheaper alternatives, but they needed replacing after only a few days, so for me these are definitely worth paying a little more for.

Liked the lack of smell but I am on the 2nd pack which will need changing this coming week and they were only delivered on 6th November. Its not as if I'm being overly fussy as when I changed the first one it really stank and was full of pee. The lid on the litter tray must do well keeping the smell contained but once it's lifted off you realise how dirty little is (I use electric litter tray). Not good value at all and I will be returning to a normal litter tray and catsan as so much better value.

Thought it was expensive, but boy was it worth it. Just the best I've used, such a difference to my day. One bag seemed snall, but it is plenty, so will work out more reasonable. I think it will last nearly a whole month for one sac. Thank you.

As soon as i put it in the litter box I started coughing from the cloud of dust it left behind !! How about the poor cats?? Very bad and not safe for cats
