2-outlet Digital Timer

This is the best outdoor timer I have ever purchased. I highly reccomend it to anyone needing a dependable, well made, economical outdoor tuimer.

Just installed this the other day. Seems simple to use and program. I don't like that the instructions state not for "long term use" i.e. >90 days???? Oh well see how long it lasts.

I was so pleased with the 2 outlet Digital Timer model number YLT-9 for the first two Christmas lighting seasons. It was mounted under the eves so it was out of the occasional rains we might experience in Mesa Arizona in December and did a perfect job turning on out strings of LED lights that outline our roof line. They came on at dusk and off at dawn, just as advertised.Unfortunately, when I hooked it up this year, it would not work. Repeatedly pressing the function selection button moved the indicator lights through all the choices as expected, but the lights did not come on at dusk as anticipated.Further testing showed that even the "timer" settings never turned on the lights at dusk, so it was impossible to know if they actually "timed" anything.The final test I performed to see if there was any useful functionality at all left in the device was to plug in a simple 10 foot string of lights. Pressing the button to the "O" position did turn the lights ON as the instructions stated. But pressing the button to the "F" (for OFF), only dimmed the lights to a faint glow instead of turning them completely off. This was accompanied by a faint "buzzing" sound, so I did not test any further, and chose the prudent path of throwing the device in our electronics recycling trash bucket.
