Good quality, straightforward installation
Holds bikes very securely. Not difficult toInstall only Comes with 2 of the hardware pieces to mount Bikes even though all the pics show 4 bikes secured. The tie down straps are ok but you’d be better off using ratcheting straps.

Great product
We spent several months researching bike racks and kept coking back to this one so we bought it. Fantastic bike rack. Did a 9 hour trip and it worked great. Very sturdy and easy to put on the camper.

Pop-up wheelie (see what I did?)
Completed installing this a few weeks back on our 2021 Rockwood Freedom 1940LTD pop up camper. For the sake of ease I always enjoy the pro / con approach to a review. So here we go!Pro’s:-Solution to a weird problem! Never really imagined in wanting to put a bike rack on a camper I would have so many inadequate options to pick from! Then I found the Pro-Rac that put the bikes in a spot that doesn’t bend the flimsy bumper!-Lightweight! Keep that gross weight in check!-Sturdy! While the pieces are lightweight, once I had the bikes on, it was clear things were secure! Some wiggle yes.....but totally acceptable.-Easy enough to get kid bikes up there! Haven’t tried adult sizes, can imagine it takes some work. I recommend tightening straps slowly and simultaneously to avoid bikes falling over and damaging the roof. My wife told me to do that way, I didn’t listen, knocked a bike off, and was reminded that I should have listened the first time. She was right. Like always.Cons:-The forks and skewers......unfortunately NONE of my kids bikes fit correctly on the system despite kid bikes being shown in the picture. A little bit of ingenuity is all you need to solve the issues BUT they need to figure out how to make that system more adjustable. I added smaller nuts and longer lag bolts.-You only get 2 forks with it. I’m sure in the description it says it.....it was likely a TLDR for me....BUT don’t show a picture that has 4 bikes in it. We can all share the blame on this one Pro-Rac.-$$$$. Niche market stuff is pricey, I get it.....but $400? I digress.-Your kids are still gonna come back to the campsite fighting, even though you finally figured out a way to transport their bikes. Can’t have it all I guess!Overall: I’m happy. You’ll definitely have some anxiety for the first 20 minutes watching the bikes in the rear view but once you’re over that hump, you’ll feel like you did alright on this one I think! Happy camping. See you out there.

Solved my bike transport problem.
This is great for carrying my bicycle(s) when I go camping. It is a little bit of work to install but was not bad. Just don't tighten everything until you have it all lined up. Easy to mount my road bike and holds it very securely while moving. The crossbar slides down to allow sliding the bed out when setting up. Very nice. I should have bought the 4 bike rack and save a few dollars instead of buying the additional hardware for two more bikes.

Misleading photo
The photo for this item is misleading showing four bikes on the rack. We ordered it thinking it would hold four bikes. Failed to read “two bike rack” on item description. If it only comes with two bike clamps that should be shown in the photo and additional clamps for adding bikes should be optional. Seller should show the item as is and give options. Very disappointed and had to return.

Great rack
Easy to use, straps work well, recommend using additional tie downs across the rear wheels to keep them from bouncing

Sturdy
This rack is rock solid. Way better built than I had anticipated. Easy to install. Very adjustable. Fit perfectly. I have a 1998 Jayco. So happy with this purchase. Zero worries about zooming down the road with bikes on there.

Just what I was looking for!
We looked into installing a bike rack on the back of our pop up camper, but the manufacturer doesn't recommend it because the bumper wasn't designed to hold that kind of weight and we didn't want to take that chance. We already had a Yakima bike rack for the truck hitch so we bought a dual hitch extension to see if that would work, but there was virtually no wiggle room between the camper and the bikes. It was so tight we couldn't make a turn while driving. That's when we saw the ProRac. Problem solved! The ProRac bike carrier is built specifically for pop up campers. It has a solid construction and unique design that fits perfectly. We bought the 2-bike carrier, but they also make a carrier for 4 bikes. The product arrived on time and has easy to follow instructions. The main rack piece is pretty long and there are a lot of parts so I suggest setting up a table outside by the camper to make it easier to install when ready. There will be less chance of scratching the finish if you have a smooth surface to work on, too. It also comes with 4 straps to secure the bikes to the rack. You have to remove the front tires when ready to install the bikes. The bike forks lock into the rack and the back tire sits on top of the camper. Neither the bike's weight nor the bike tires will in no way harm the camper roof or jockey box (depending on your type of camper: it fits both types). They do provide you with an "anti scuff adhesive patch" that you can stick to the camper where the bike meets the roof, but we used a small square of foam instead. I highly recommend purchasing a support strap with a jack that you can use to secure the back bike tires to the camper. Hook it to the underside of the camper and run it through the bike tires to the other side of the camper, then tighten it to keep the bikes from swaying. This is only an added option that we saw someone suggest in another review and it works great giving you added security for your bikes while traveling. We've taken a couple of trips since we installed the ProRac and, even though it seems a little pricey, I'm glad we purchased it. It's solid, it's American made and it's a good investment!
