I was skeptical about this one. An influencer mentioned it helped her hair grow, and that’s what made me buy it — my son had a lot of curly hair but had to recently cut it after not taking the best care of it, similar to what she described. I also remembered Blue Magic from growing up and honestly thought “ew, gross,” plus I expected it to smell awful. It actually smells pretty good. He has 3C/4A, low porosity curly hair, and the difference was instant. Applied while his hair was wet, and the curl definition and moisture for his texture have been fantastic. Unfortunately I didn’t take a before photo.

Blue magic and water the best hair care maintenance ever from childhood to now a must have for curly thick hair. Tried newer products but always return to what my hair know best. I guess it depends on hair texture also, but I think it will work on all coarse hair types.
