Dylon Machine Dye Pod, 350g, Peony Pink

I don’t have a washer, but was able to do this in a tub of water I got to 40 degrees Celsius (per instructions). This top took the color well, despite it being mostly viscose which the instructions say may not take up as much color. These photos are from the item wet, so I imagine it will lighten up as it dries to be more similar in shade to the pod’s image. Do notice that the white thread didn’t pick up any color. It’s probably a synthetic thread. I could see this being weird if you purchase a dark dye and don’t want a thread standing in stark contrast to the new color. I would buy again.

White cotton diapers always get stained so my wife decided to try dying them and the first 2 came out great our granddaughter now has a nice pink diaper to go with her pink shirt and shorts! She really likes pink lol 😆

I had one small piece of material and it didn’t change the color at all. Waste of money.

Needed more than one for 6 towels. Would recommend dumping the pod vs leaving the pod to tumble about. But easy color application overall.

It not a bad product but you might need to but and use more than one in order to see a stronger color 💪.

Used on a white cotton blanket and it did nothing but was time, water and electricity.

I have a long sleeved linen white shirt with sleeves that roll up that I love. I love it so much I have had it for about 8 years. It started out white and I maintained that for a long time. But for the last couple of years it had started to yellow a bit, so I would just throw it on over a cami to go on a walk etc.. The shirt itself is still in perfect condition, so I thought I would try dying it. This dye worked amazing and was so easy to use. Take off the wrapper, pull the paper tab off the top, dampen shirt, put in washer and sit the entire tub in on top. I washed it on a 30° cotton wash and it came out perfect! It's like having a brand new shirt!! The pink is a bit darker than the cap. I would describe it as a pink/coral colour, but I only used one item of clothing, so maybe if you dye more than one thing it would be lighter, but the colour is beautiful. There was no residue left in the drum, but I ran a clear empty wash anyway. I would definitely use this again!!

I’ve used so many of these pods over the last few years with great success (black to darken faded jeans and change the colour of shorts, purple to dye a white jumpsuit and dress, and most recently peony pink to dye my cream curtains). I was worried my curtains may not turn out the way I‘d hoped as they’re really large and very thick. I used one pod per curtain and they turned out absolutely beautiful. I’ve saved myself a few hundred £ on new curtains! The pods are really easy to use and I’ve never had any problems using them. The one and only issue I can think of is that when I dyed my shorts black, the stitching did not take the colour and remained white (although the stitching on other garments has taken perfectly fine). I’m happy to recommend.

Works very well. I used it to dye my cotton flatsheet for my bed and the colour it came out from an originally light cream colour was a very pretty pastel pink, so I was very happy. It doesn't look patchy to me and the whole sheet was covered so I was happy. I ran the machine on a cleaning cycle after and there were no issues with accidently dyeing other clothing and when cleaning the sheet I've not noticed a change in the pigments. I dried it in the tumble dryer and it just took the same time as normal. Overall a good, trustworthy brand for dyes
