I Really Like this Item
I will try to be as honest as possible because I depend on other people's reviews and feel I want to help the best I can: Arrived as described. This is a professional grade Rubber/Vinyl combo Hose with Solid Brass fitting to connectivity needed. 3/4" Diameter means that even though it has plenty of flexibility, it takes some patience when testing the maneuverability to fit it onto your hose reel or stand. But once you've stretched it out, the maneuverability of the hose becomes easier. I am replacing my exact same size/brand hoses from 10 years ago. I had two 50' hoses screwed together and kept outside year round. I do drain the water and disconnect from the spigot during the winter. This spring the female end that screws onto my outside spigot sprung a tiny leak. I went to replace the one hose, only to find the fitting where the two hoses screw together had corroded itself so badly that I ended up snapping off the male threads inside the female brass fitting. So I just replace both hoses. After ten years they were looking exhausted anyways. I feel ten years is a good lifespan for a hose that sits outside all year round in all temps and weather. I Recommend. Good Luck.

Heavy duty and very good quality.
This is a top quality heavy duty hose. Actually too heavy duty for my use around the house but I use it anyway. Probably perfect for farm and industrial use.

Excellent quality
Excellent quality, thick but pliable and rolls and unrolls easily. Make sure to stretch it out with water in it, In the sun for a day before using to get the memory out. I anticipate this hose lasting years, as long as I donโt run over it with the mower.

Manufacturing issue?
Normally a fantastic product. We use them on job sites all the time. Unfortunately the nut that attaches to the spigot broke off this one. I have a repair kit and was able to get a partial refund, but Iโve never seen one break like this.

Flimsy End Fittings Failed Quickly. No Customer Support.
Bought two of these hoses- one female end failed within a few weeks of ordinary residential use. The other is showing signs of the same failure. I also see this issue in several comments, and I think it is a design/ cost cutting problem. I'm sure Gilmour knows about this. Commercial, pro grade means you actually get what you pay extra $$ for. This hose does not deliver. The hose tubing is really nice- big and flexible, but the end fittings are flimsy thin-gauge stamped brass- mine are failing under normal use. The beefy-looking big kink spring doesn't help this at all. This is not pro, not commercial grade (see my photo showing the difference, below, showing their failed, thin fitting compared to a commercial one) Pro/commercial also means prompt customer service. I wrote Gilmour about this issue using their website customer service portal- giving them a chance to respond privately. After several days, they did not acknowledge my message, or respond. Cheaper, less durable products and poor customer service are ways of increasing short term profit. But there is a cost to this. They get a public review. I wish you all well- it is hard to return to excellence, but I commend it to you. I bought a repair kit, so I'm back in business- I'm out of time but at this high price, these hoses were a loss for me.

Commercial-Grade Hose That Refuses to Kink
This hose stays kink-free even dragged around tight corners in the yard, which is more than I can say for the hoses it replaced. The heavy-duty construction feels built to last multiple seasons outdoors.

This hose last and last.
Got this 2018 it is still kicking. Have never drained it for winter. Itโs been on a hose real all of its life. It has been used and left pressured up in direct sun for several hours. It has swollen up in diameter but never burst. I needed more hose for a garden project. Found a longer one and cut it into and put my own ends on them. Hope this new stuff works a well as the old. It is not quite as heavy but I have to put some trust in this brand. Would buy again for sure. It is a bit stiff but it will real up on a real with some effort. If you are tired of replacing hose and fighting kinks all the time. This is the one to trust.

Good hose
It has been 2 years almost and no problems. It's a heavier hose, not flimsy. It has never ever kinked on me - I really love that. It's easy to move around, but that's relative - I mean if you're a little 85 year old lady then yeah it may not be easy, but for the average guy it's no problem. It does not leak anywhere. I'm a cheapo and tend to pay the bare minimum for everything, but after replacing every hose I ever bought just about every other year I decided to buy a good one - or what I hoped to be a good one (though you can never know for sure if you are buying a good one). I got this one (75 feet) and gladly it has exceeded my expectations. I am going to buy a 2nd one soon, as I really need about 300 feet to get all the way across my property. Anyways, my experience is good; but take note of some other folks negative reviews because you never know when a defective one might sneak through - but I think you can tell from the reviews that they are more the exception than the rule.

Very satisfied
Excellent heavy duty hose. It was used for the summer to run water from a hydrant to the cattle water tank and stood up very well.

this is a very strong hose
This hose has put up with a lot of abuse from leaving it left on driving over it it's tough and the best gardenhose I ever had even in the hot sun it still performs great,.

Junk, nonsense warranty
Seemed good at first, until it burst, and my water pressure isnt that high. Got a free replacement under their "Lifetime warranty". 2nd hose lasted barely a year, the male fitting bent and as you can see in the picture, every sprayer attached has severe leaks, gushing. So i tried to get a replacement to be told that their "lifetime warranty" only applies to the original. So dont believe their bs warranty. Its 1 free replacement then ur on ur own! So much for lifetime warranty! What a joke. Dont know how they get away with using "lifetime warranty"

Good quality if it isn't a returned item...
Bought 2 of these hoses, first one I installed for the backyard. Looks and feels heavy duty, downside is its a little stiff so not very good for plastic hose reels. The 2nd hose upon opening had duct tape around it, took the tape off and found the hose was cut. Must have been a return from somebody that they resold without inspecting. I have started my return and will just buy a hose locally to make sure it isn't damaged.

Very stiff, hard to roll up, and kinks easy
The hose was much stiffer than i thought it would be. So stiff that it makes it very hard to roll up and un-roll. It also kinks quite easy. Overall I am quite disappointed with the quality of the material.
