This arrived promptly and well packaged. It came with tools necessary to set code. Easy setup. Very sturdy. If anything a bit in the heavy side, but that comes with its solidity. Easy to take on and off and stows neatly between driver's seat and door. Its black finish is not readily seen from outside the vehicle. I put on white tape roundels to make it obvious. It fits my C43 well, without touching the centre of the steering wheel. I'm confident this would deter any but the most determined thief. Good product.

Really sturdy and heavy steering wheel security device. Well made with smooth rounded features and no sharp corners. Relatively easy to unset the numbers when securing the device to the steering wheel, but as it’s so heavy you have to be careful (a) that you don’t trap your hand in the pull-out part and (b) that you don’t accidentally sound the horn (hence knocking off one star from ease of use). My newish Peugeot 3008, like many modern cars, has a horn that’s active even when the “ignition” is all switched off and the car ready to lock up. Quite easy to set your 5-digit security number when you want to take it off the wheel. I’ve added two rings of red tape to mine so that it now matches nicely my red and black paint job of the car, looks the part. The main problem really, as with any heavy security device, is handling it and placing it somewhere securely for the journey so that no damage occurs to you or your car. A good buy, as it’s obvious to a thief that they’d really struggle to remove it. And so much nicer than a seriously annoying car alarm that doesn’t deter attempted theft anyway. Good value to protect a £25k+ car.

I've had this steering lock since Oct 19, and have been pleased with it, but left the review until I have used it properly for a while. A fews days ago the ratchet action of three of the dials stopped working which is very disappointing I've only used it a few months, so I am giving it 4* overall rating. Other than that it's well built and works well.

Product arrived earlier than expected; so delighted with the service.The lock itself is simple to set up and use. The instructions are adequate to set up the combination number. Simply remove the small screw and blocking piece. Move the setting lever towards the SET lable. I did this with my fingers but a small tool is provided. Then set you desired combination number. Move the setting lever back, replace the blocking piece and screw. That's it,your done. Fit it to your car. Very strong and sturdy, fitted my VW Touareg very well. I'm delighted. I'm less concerned with having my car stolen due to the weak security if keyless opening than I was before I fitted this lock.

Easy to fit. Easy to follow instructions to amend code. Very solid unit. Seemed expensive at first but once used you realise why.Buy one and protect your vehicle.

Nice bit of security kit value for money works very well and nice and easy no problem with it at all would recommend it to family and friends

I initially wrote a positive review for this product and I have to say that it appears sturdy and strong; the locking mechanism is very smooth; it is very easy to set the lock to the number you want (clear instructions given) and it is very easy to fit to the steering wheel. Therefore I would like to give it 5 stars.... but can't, because sadly it did not fit my car!When I wrote my initial review I had only tried it on my steering wheel without actually locking the car and all seemed to be OK. But when I tried it later, this time locking the car, as soon as I clicked "lock" on my key fob, the horn started sounding and would not stop!My car has an airbag in the center of the steering wheel (where the horn is also positioned) and although it didn't set the horn off when I put the steering lock in place, it did (st the horn off) as soon as the car was locked.I tried to get round it by positioning the wheel lock to the side, so it didn't go over the centre of the wheel, but this meant it no longer served its purpose as all I had to do was slide the lock a little to one side and it would slip it off the wheel without unlocking it.So, I still think it is a good product, and that it will be fine with any car that does not have an airbag in the steering wheel (or even a car that does have an airbag in the steering wheel, so long as the center of the steering wheel does not protrude very much, but unfortunately it is just not suitable for a Merc C200 and I suspect this may the case for a lot of "newer" cars.

Been using it for some years now and has not jammed on me. Most conventional steering wheel locks have a key which can break, or if you lose the key it’s annoying. This is not an issue with a lock like this. It’s heavy so if you place it in the passenger footwell it doesn’t move around. It hasn’t worn down in its appearance. Takes seconds to put on and has not damaged my steering wheel.

Habe es vor ein Jahr gekauft um mein Kastenwagen zu schützen. Muss sagen super! Kein nerviges Schlüsselsuchen um das Schloss zu betätigen. Fünf Zahlen Stellen einstellen und merken :-) .Es ist lang genug das ein Drehen des Lenkrades unmöglich macht. Bei nicht gebrauch gut zu verstauen. Da ein Ducato Tür kein Hinderniss ist, ist diese Kralle eine wunderbare Abschreckung! Denn wenn der Dieb eine Flex einsetzt ist der Sitz verkohlt. So stabil ist es. Kann es ergo nur Empfehlen.

Esta cerradura antirrobo me gusta por ser con una contraseña, sin embargo la encuentro un poco pesada para el volante y si no se tiene mucho cuidado, puede dañar la piel o el revestimiento que tenga el volante.

unverständlicherweise hat uns die Automobilindustrie mit zu wenig Diebstahlschutz versorgt. Also bessert man mit einem mechanischen Schloss nach, um es den digital bestens ausgestatteten Dieben unattraktiv schwer zu machen. Hat seit einem Jahr prima geklappt. Trotz gesichteter Autodieben steht meiner noch draußen. Das Schloss kratzt nicht, ist längenverstellbar, schnell an-/abzubauen, hat eine dezente Farbe, ist ordentlich schwer und stabil und nimmt dennoch nicht viel Platz beim Nicht-Gebrauch ein.

Sieht Stabil aus und fühlt sich Stabil an. Das Zahlenschloss lässt sich nicht durch ausprobieren öffnen, also kein Spiel wenn man die Rädchen dreht. Das Schloss lässt sich zwar am Lenkrad befestigen, drückt dabei aber leider auf die Hupe. Deshalb muss ich das Produkt leider zurücksenden. Eine Tabelle in der Produktbeschreibung, in welcher die entsprechenden Lenkräder aufgelistet sind wäre hilfreich, dann gäbe es auch 2 Sterne mehr.
