It's great, exactly what I was after - with 2 little ones I wanted something easy to clean, and also a blanket that grass and other bits don't stick to. Only used it once but very happy with it so far. The only slight downside (and it is slight) is none of the designs were entirely to my taste, but the fabric, size and practicality far outweigh this.

I'm very happy with my purchase! I searched high and low for a picnic blanket of this quality and design. I appreciate the fold flat shopper bag style which makes it so easy to take along to little trips and walks. It's padded enough to also be comfortable to sit on and the material seems easy to look after (not had any spills on it yet though).

As long as you do not expect this to be a "blanket" it is fine for a decorative tarp under your (non-pokey) chairs or beach towels. Look for the folding directions printed on the label (attached much like a "materials" label). Just be Very careful with the zipper, if it got sand or you are not careful, it is a tight fit - I would only have adults zip it up. As to padding, if you leave it in the carry case, you could sit on it for a little padding, but the blanket/tarp has no actual padding other than it is probably 3 layers of regular thickness material. A decent size for many uses.

Great blanket. Bought a second. The first one did rip a bit at the seems, but still loved it for portability, waterproof/resistant, and easy to pack up. Great for grass picnic or beach. Good size.

We had a blanket similar to this for many years and the zipper finally broke. I was so pleased when I found this one on Amazon. It is just slightly harder to zip around this folded blanket than my old one, but then my old one was not waterproof or stain resistant. My family and I picnic at the beach every Friday night during the summer and this blanket is perfect for a comfortable picnic! One suggestion, offer a range of color choices. I keep it in my beautiful green Audi and would really like a green blanket rather than blue.

a bit bigger folded up than i expected, but on the ground is water proof and has a nice feel to it. i've used lighter versions of these blankets, and this one has stiffer more durable feel to it. That being said its nice how it zips up on itself rather than stuffing into a little pocket like the lighter ones do. not the lightest or most compact but does the job.
